I would like to to try this coin.  I never posted here so this is fresh account.  If my signature hasn't changed, here is my address : PhygMe6HoJF7o1yMGXhdefPU9vj3g24cn9

Btw, wallet download is "catching up" after downloading 447 block.  Not sure what it exactly means.

Thx.

The chain you are on is buggy.
Delete everything but your wallet in %appdata%\PirateCoin folder.

I have done exactly that.  Deleted everything except wallet.dat in Appdata section.  Still same problem.  "Catching up" after block 447.  I will leave it on over night and see if anything happens.

Try doing that again but this time put this in PirateCoin.conf file:
Code:
addnode=88.246.198.60

Most of the nodes are stuck and stubborn on staying on block 447.
I would suggest blocking nodes with starting height of 447.

I deleted everything again, and added conf file with new node, thanks to you.   It seems to work better now.  Although it still says "catching up", block has increased to 711.  I see 2 active connections.  Maybe its thin nodes/network issue.   I will live it running overnight.

Everyday, Sun rises and you are one step closer to your eventual demise.  What are you going to do today?

That happens because the wallet is made to think that blocks are being mined but at the time nobody was mining.
If a new block is found it will catch up.Mine yourself or wait for someone, it is safe.
