So apparently my GPUs didn't like mining it. Kept crashing after a short amount of time while no coin does this. Mined all night and got no further coins. Wasted a whole night of mining on this when I got 4 coins in first 2 minutes of mining. Not mining any further on this unless I get a stronger CPU otherwise my GPU power is a waste on this. Also need pools, soloing with such slow block speed is crazy. Have fun guys. Ill return when pools are created for this.

Hi HashHarder! Thanks for putting the coin up on the site, we are currently running X15, but are developing other applications that will run on top of GryfenCoin with other algorithms and the rewards are based on individuals acting as a node vs. the amount of hashrate. Will post the pool in our thread announcement.

I went ahead and found 353 for ya we are on 373 now....rollin phat with my 12 gryfens So we were stuck on 373 for about 2 hours, I put my rig back onto the network and found 373, that seems to have unstuck things as we are now at 388. I will leave some power on the network to keep things rolling along but its not really cost efficient at 2 per block ;-) GVq8HnMrRQEu7p362spmX3EbKRBjQMRB1p

compiled both qt and command line wallets and both stops complaining about wallet corruption (yes, i've deleted ~/.gryfencoin more than once, no change): GryfenCoin: Error loading wallet.dat: Wallet corrupted any idea? ps: i'm on linux Hey, Just to clarify, make sure you install all packages, etc as noted in ' install-ubuntu-14-04'. You may need to also install packages, " libqrencode3 (3.4.2-1) AND qrencode (3.4.2-1)" Once this is complete, edit in text editor file ' gryfencoin..conf-solo_mining' and change the PW within file. Rename file from ' gryfencoin..conf-solo_mining' to ' gryfencoin.conf'. If you do not have any coins minted as of yet, remove the wallet.dat file from ./gryfencoin and enter terminal, directing towards wallet folder and run ' ./gryfencoin-qt'. Please let us know if this works! Best wishes!

Can you be more specific? You can go to Gryfenco.in and it will direct you to the miner CPU Miner for you to compile. Directions are within the github. If you need further help, please reach out to me and we will see what can be done.

which miner are you using? id recommend this one: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/v5_0GRYF is currently using the x15 algo so you would need to use bitblock algorithm in .conf "algorithm" : "bitblock"

I just downloaded the cpuminer from the link on the pool website and used the commands they offered which were (minerd -a --scrypt -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minerpools.com:4185 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword). Can only use cpu for now as I have and intel video card that will not except opencl. I do have some gridseed multiminers on the way though.

please release CentOS 6.5 install for gryfen daemon so pools can add the coin.
We have been running this coin for over 24 hours. What's the issue? on CentOS? this boost 1.37 is not like boost install i am used to. normally this would be easier. (on CentOS) example, my boost portion of compiling daemon normally looks like this (for CentOS): wget ' https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/boost/boost/1.55.0/boost_1_55_0.tar.bz2' tar --warning=no-timestamp -xjf boost_1_55_0.tar.bz2 pushd boost_1_55_0 ./bootstrap.sh --without-icu ./bjam toolset=gcc threadapi=pthread threading=multi variant=release link=static runtime-link=shared --without-mpi --without-python -sNO_BZIP2=1 --layout=tagged --build-type=complete --prefix="$VERT_STAGE_LOC" $MAKEOPTS -d+2 install popd but, there is no bootstrap.sh for this boost 1.37, so i can not ./bootstrap.sh =[ how should i go about this step?
