I used to be able to speak Russian and Spanish when I was younger but since my skills have rusted severely due to nobody around me speaking Russian or Spanish any longer.

Having said that I have a ton of Russian friends and it would be toooooo easy to deliver Russian subtitles

Coins that are deposited on GryfX are going to enjoy interest slightly better than if you were staking the coins yourself.
Dividends of the market are going to be used to offer everyone continued interest on funds they hold on our market.

We're working on getting more stuff up in GryfX, and I encourage you guys to keep using it and keep giving us good feedback. 

Lots of cool stuff coming in the way of eye candy features, improved UI & New/Better coins.

Here are the coins I'm thinking of rolling with on the UI upgrade:

We are also going to add two indexes of coins:  The Cannabis/Hemp based coins and the Sex/Porn based coins since those are two areas experiencing huge market pull(due to banks thinking they can starve them out....silly banks)

Right now the technical stuff that we are working on before we'll do the next major release are:
1.Receiving Bitcoin
2.Sending GryfenCoin off market
3.Buying Shares & Receiving Share deliveries in market

That's the concrete technical stuff, but lot's of cool stuff is on the way.  I hate to keep saying it, but I really do feel like we have some great stuff coming out.  Stefano and I are VERY enthusiastic and we think you will be too!

We're in the process of updating to the 2.0 version of the user interface that is substantially more polished.  As per being listed on an altcoin exchange we decided that the best option would be to focus near 100% on getting the next version of gryfX out.  Without that there is no implicit or explicit value besides the hash expended.  Since we identified that as the only real variable that mattered that's what we have been working 100% on.  Stefano is nearly done with it - he's just finishing up a few pages. 

In the next version users will be able to complete various offers or microjobs(with actual decent user reward) and earn gryfencoin &/or Bitcoin inside of gryfX.  This way we'll lower the barrier of entry to those who want to see what it's all about or to someone who has no coins to speak of.  From completing offers users will also randomly receive rewards in the form of options for the options.  Or in-game modifiers(stones).  With stones you can increase the volatility of markets, increase the quantity in an option when executing an option, create dozens of random options for free based on a base option, and multiplying a profitable spread to be even more profitable.   Once you get some in Game Modifiers profiting will be even easier.   But the only way to get in game modifiers(Stones) is to complete offers from select advertisers and promoters. 

We're going to be adding Bitcoin support as well, for depositing/sending/receiving w offers but I mean that's really w/e

We aren't going to be JUST targeting North Americans in this release.

Just wanted to update everyone on our progress.

We're almost done with the GUI and are going to implement the Gryfen Offers section that will allow GryfX to be "Freemium".

If your country isn't on the list of targetted countries - fret not!  We will have offers for every country in the world not covered in an "international" section.

Things to come are going to be:

5% Monthly interest, compounding semi-continuously for GryfenCoin deposits on GryfX

We'll be offering a Bitcoin deposit program that will have better interest rates than that even, with Bitcoin returns, but there are a few things we need to have sorted out before we do that.  As soon as we start Bitcoin deposits users will be able to speculate on coins with not just GryfenCoin, but with Bitcoin as well.

i tried starting, the win client again and it says the wallet is corrupt. tried to run it with salvagewallet but it didnt work.. any suggestions?

Heh, oh yes THAT error.

My advice would be to go into your GryfenCoin folder and delete everything but the wallet, the config file and the mining client.  Also delete all the hidden win files in \appdata\gryfencrypto\gryfencoin - then start it(the wallet) back up and it will sync.  If not please let me know @ zigbs.zigbs@gmail.com and I can get back to you in real time and solve this.
