it could actually be argued that you could make charities incredibly more transparent using the block chain because you could assign company addresses to the funds and then we could check that nobody is trying to take a percentage on the side.
That is one really great aspect I didn't even think of.
It's something we do regularly here actually
because when people say they've sent something they post the actually transaction up and you can see if on the blockchain website really easily, the exact amount and everything, it's also used to solve some technical issues if there's ever a problem with the transaction itself.
You wouldn't be able to do this if you were dealing with paper money because the transaction data would all be in the bank's computers and there's no way you'd get access to it.
