Google has agreed to add protections around games' in-app purchases to ensure that children won't rack up unwanted charges on their parents' credit cards. The changes come at the request of the European Commission.

Apple is just giving customers what they want... not. I have never seen Apple voluntarily do anything that might slice into their bottom line. The company that promoted "think differently" now wants sheeple.
