The only way for western countries to have a high visitor rate is to have a concentrated population density and travel hub. Los Angeles County is probably higher than Kuala Lumpur, but just counting exits from LAX it's lower.

Well considering the disappearing of Malaysian airplane from 4 months ago,and the tragedy from 2 days ago,Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia will loose a good number of tourist.

It is amazing, how popular are Asian cities. They always were something mysterious for me, with their unusual traditions, exotic food and beautiful landscapes. So no wonder the majority of the list are Asian. I think that it is always more interesting to explore something completely new than just sunbath and drink cocktails.

May be they are just local visitors, not international tourists. For example, local visitor live outside city and drive to work every day.

hina has the most cities in the list, not surprised at all since China is a lot friendlier than the over rated western world.
