There have been a myriad of new coins that have been created and hyped in the last 5 months. They have small variations of algos and block rewards....and so on. These developers create coins to compete at a peer level that has an exit strategy (in the long term) which results in a DE-LISTING from exchanges as they make some "coin" in their hobby.

I advise looking closely at the DEVELOPMENT and the time span of release dates. Put a dollar amount to each project and value it AGAINST its MARKET VALUE, then value future projects.

Damn right!!

Every few hours, raleit2014 is posting "buy this/sell that" threads which appear to be spam promoting his website.

The site looks ok (although needs some polishing) but it doesn't provide enough credible info about each currency to make an informed decision. Why should anybody take his word for what is a good buy or a bad buy? A lot of the coins mentioned seem to be categorized as the the polar opposite of enlightened thinking.

It's very easy to dismiss this as a scheme/ploy to promote or exploit coins that are in dire need of a marketing boost....
