Hello Pesa community,
We’ve been hard at work laying out the structure for an interesting new feature based on smart contracts for the Pesa client. The details will be outlined in the next update of the Pesa white paper. We think that it's pretty awesome, but obviously we will need the community's approval before entering the development phase.
Additionally, we’ve noticed the numerous requests for an increase in presence on the thread and more attention to PR in general. We’re going to try and accomplish this by rearranging some responsibilities within our team, and possibly even bring someone new on to handle this position. We will keep you guys updated and let you know if we decide to bring someone on from the forums or elsewhere.
Another concern is the issue with staking. It is important to note that as the staking difficulty rises, rewards from staking become harder and less frequent. Regardless, we’re looking into any possible code issue with the staking and we will push an update to the wallet if we find something.
Besides that, we’re glad that these concerns have been raised by the community, since it shows us that you guys care as much as we do. Thanks for your support, and stay tuned for the updated white paper and wallet.

what really needs attention is the wallet.doesnt stay in sync.it is doing excatly what the vericoin wallet done.goes out of sync and my balance is out all the time.have to keep running repair wallet to fix extra coins showing up in my wallet. I agree. Get the wallet running smoothly across all platforms before adding new pieces. I don't get it. My wallet syncs every time and balance is always correct. I just opened it and it's perfect.

This is the issue we are having. We can't seem to replicate any of the staking or syncing problems on our test wallets. The developer is currently reviewing the client code to see if he can come up with any possible suspects, but as far as we can tell, everything is working as it should.

Which wallet? Windows or Mac?
We've done the most testing on the Windows wallet, since we think it is probably the most popular.

Why is the price so low It was trading at 900. There were more sellers than buyers. Like all coins, the community panicked. They thought Max wasn't coming back to the thread when he wasn't active.

So how does the future look like? Well, the good thing about Pesa is that Max and the developer are legit and professional. You can see they have been researching the project for some time here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=273197.0Also, the market cap is way too low for a project with a real developer. Not that I care about short-term price movements, but with a market cap of 55k, 10x on your investment is a very reasonable ROI.

why u did not care about the price?
Worrying about the price right now just means this is another P&D coin, the point is to have a future where the price climbs. We want the development of the coin to occur and then steady price climb will follow

Worrying about the price right now just means this is another P&D coin, the point is to have a future where the price climbs. We want the development of the coin to occur and then steady price climb will follow Unfortunately people care about the short-term price so it can't be totally dismissed. That being said, the price is usually a function of the coin community, developer activity and innovation. Most of the top 20 coins are either very innovative and were first movers on a new feature, outstanding marketing or a crypto pioneer like BTC and then LTC.
