Hey guys, The OP has been updated to include the addition of the newest team member (me) . Also, the white paper has also been updated to reflect the newest revisions, so now the initial plans for smart contract integration with Pesa are included. Flunkie, can you give an idea on when anon will be implimented?
Ok, so originally anonymous features were going to be the first things implemented into the Pesa wallet. These core features include encrypted chat, end to end encryption and mixing. However, these wallet issues have jumped into the number one priority spot. We are currently working with a few key members of the community to test the following factors to see if we can pinpoint the problem: - Compiling issues- testing to see if something is going wrong during compile, ie it might not be a problem with the code. This also raises the issue of version control, which one user brought to our attention. The next version of the Pesa wallet will be a uniform fix across all platforms, that way everyone is on the same version. This will make future troubleshooting much easier
- OS specific problem- we're trying to see if the syncing issues and staking issues are OS specific, and how we can fix it if they are. If this is the case, it is probably a compiling problem like outlined above.
- Code problem- this is what we've been trying to figure out since the initial reports of problems with the wallet. Now we have a few members of the community who are helping us identify and troubleshoot to try and find the bad code if thats what it is
Please understand that we're doing our best to rectify the situation. As an added concern, our developer is currently in a location that is experiencing periodic power shortages, which means his progress is being slowed greatly. This isn't a permanent problem, and he will be returning to a stable environment within the next couple days. Due to this issue, we are reaching out to a few trusted community members who are graciously lending some temporary expertise. I will let you guys know when we have a new wallet version for everyone to update to. Until then, thanks for your patience. Alex

I'm still a little confused why other people have problems yet my Mac wallet syncs and stakes perfectly. Did you guys update to the new wallet on July 27th. 23:22:11 getblockhash 7741 23:22:11 bae3e99ab34caa1f1a7da5426af8cb45a05fab6892cb4359aeefa050f89928cb

Okay, first things first, for anyone having problems with any wallet, we need for you to uninstall and do a clean install with the wallet listed in the OP. Then, if you are having continued problems, message me with the specifics of your problem, and how you fixed it (if you were able).
Having everyone on the same page as far as wallets go will help expedite fixing this.

Already done that twice. Uninstalled wallet, removed all files from "roaming" folder except wallet.dat ofc. Installed new wallet. What happens is that sometimes wallet does not sync but stacking, and last few days does not sync and not stacking at all. I can try again if ya want?
