We don't think we are? What does that mean? We're working through some tests with our pre release build right now.

Only way I finally got my wallet to sync is by deleting everything from roaming and making a backup of my wallet.dat

Run the qt and download the blockchain with a fresh wallet.  Close it.  Replace the new wallet with your old wallet.  Start it up again and you are synced.

If you have coins in your wallet and alot of blocks to download, it seems to get stuck at certain blocks and you start veering off and staking on your own fork and can't get synced with the main chain.

Mark my words, Pesa will be at a 5mm market cap within 2 months.  It's going to be an epic rise.

Ack, Bittrex down. 1st would be working sync, 2nd more exchangers. You cannot trade all Volume on merely one.
The other thing is trust. I can only be lost in crypto, seldom gained.

Our wallet still isn't syncing... waiting for a dev update.  Also, we need a working block explorer before we can go back live.

Thanks

Okay, so I’ve an update for you guys today. We've found the problem with the wallet, and we've come up with a fix, although it's going to be a pretty big overhaul. After going through the Guerillacoin codebase thoroughly (the coin we forked) we've found a multitude of issues that are all adding up to the current suboptimal wallet experience.

The main issue lies within the dynamic interest system. Basically, many of the wallets are getting stuck at certain blocks during sync. At these points, the wallets begin staking their coins on a new chain, specific to that wallet, and they are never able to rejoin the original chain. In order to fix this, we've begun the process of gutting our current codebase and migrating the good parts to a new, clean fork of a different coin.

One issue that this raises is that, at least initially, the new version of Pesa will not include a dynamic interest system, since that is the part of the Guerrillacoin code that is causing the most problems.

Additionally, for everyone who has participated in the Twitter contest who haven't received their coins, don't worry. We've got all of the addresses that need to be paid out to, and we will do that once the new wallet is up and everyone has switched over.

The new wallet will be fixed and ready to go within the next few days. The public release will be on Monday, August 11 at 7PM UTC, so five days from today.

If you guys have more questions I’ll be monitoring the thread for a little while longer,

Alex

Atleast release a wallet today without the dynamic interest so that we can prevent the trade halt over bittrex.
