do you think altcoins can be traded with fiat without need to be traded with bitcoin ?
and also altcoins for goods ?

anyway corruption is because of the people who work for the Bank, not the Bank Smiley

I don't want to get into a big discussion here but of course alt-coins can eventually be traded with fiat and they already can be traded for goods, although not much.  Bitcoin purists will have you believe that BTC has some kind of strangle hold on crypto mass adoption when that's not even close to the reality of the situation.  Bitcoin is starting to penetrate the masses, but we haven't even scratched the surface and that means there is plenty of space and time for alt-coins to make a mark.  It's very naive to think otherwise.  You only have to look at history of the infancy stages of other high growth, disruptive technologies.  The first to the market is rarely the industry leader as the technology matures.  I'll give you one more chance to respond and then we should end the conversation.  I don't want to derail the thread.

Alex,

Can you also let us know when we can have another planned IRC chat?  It would be great if it was planned so more people can have time to join.

Hey everyone,

For those of you who haven't been in IRC the last couple times, here's a quick update as to what is happening behind the scenes:

  • Enigma is ready for implementation into the Pesa source code. We should have a stable build within 3 weeks, and possibly pre-release builds before that.
  • The Pesa team is attempting to get a spot on the Casheer App, and the community can help out by tweeting about @CasheerApp and @PesaCrypto, as well as participating in the discussion on the CasheerApp forum. You can check that out here: http://forum.casheer.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=151
  • We're putting together another Twitter campaign, this time with bigger giveaways and more outreach. If you think you have an idea that relates to this or will improve the campaign, feel free to voice it.
  • whive has shown interest in contributing to the advancement of Pesa on a global scale, namely through the incorporation of SMS technology into Pesa. We're really excited about this, as you can imagine.
I think that about sums it up, if I forgot anything, just let me know below Smiley
