How to correctly recover the account.

I know the format which this.

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. The current date is <date>.
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
<insert address here>
<insert signature here>
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ...
OR
I sent that address to someone in a PM with PM ID#...

But when I sign a message using blockchain.info I got this format. Is this still valid? How to sign a message with the same format above?

Code:
My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. The current date is <date>.

<insert address here>
<insert signature here>

How long the recovery process take?

Is theymos the only who can recover an account?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

You can just add those "-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----" lines back, and check if you have done it right on brainwallet page (https://brainwallet.github.io/#verify).

Yes, theymos is the only one can help you in this case.
No idea how much time is needed, but I did read people waiting for days and weeks without any reply (not sure if they sent the PM in correct way though)...
