I don't think so. As I understand it the only requirements is that you are active in bitcointalk by creating a post anywhere (not necessary here) in the last 7 days.

No you dont have to post here but login your account in past 48 hours, so we know you are active. Also to prevent dortman logginers we put post rule for only after 7 days... you can post anywhere not in this thread.
