Im guessing we all invested some, but you cant expect people to take their whole savings and toss them on bitcoin and cross fingers everything turns out great.

Even when investing a certain amount, alot of people will use one portion of selected amount and buy in on the dips, getting more coins for their fiat.
The real wuestion is, what is stoping big players from entering the bitcoin arena; and im guessing that reason are banks, and the fact that at alot of places, buying big amounts of bitcoin aint that easy.

Well, I have invested a lot in Bitcoin, and now I am a proud hodler Grin

But I can give the example of a good friend of mine: He invests in foreign currencies and stocks, but never in bitcoin. Even though I have talked a lot about it with him, he always refuses to invest even a small % of his savings in BTC, and even alerts me all the time that "it is a ponzi scheme", that "it is no more than tulip mania", that "I will soon loose everything I have invested", etc... Anyway, he has always been such a hard-headed stubborn in any subject we talk, always insisting to be against every of my opinions (he is even comic sometimes with his reasoning) that I am already quite used to it, and nowadays he does not scare me at all any more Wink
