hi everybody,

well i'm new in this forum and i'm new in btc world  Shocked

first i'm sorry if it's not the good place to make ask my question, and sorry for my english...
well i just get Multiit 0.5.18
And i ve tried to see if my btc adress worked

so i've went to this site : http://elbitcoingratis.es/index.php  and when i put my bct adress that's say to me " your adress is not valid....
well i've tried to put my btc on an other site " localbitcoin", and that's work , so i wanted to know what the problem with MultiBit, when i start it , i'm synchronized and i'm online :Le répertoire de données de l′utilisateur est « C:\Users\ahaha\AppData\Roaming\MultiBit ».
Le répertoire d′installation est « C:\Program Files (x86)\MultiBit-0.5.18 ».
Ouverture du porte-monnaie « C:\Users\ahahha\AppData\Roaming\MultiBit\multibit.wallet »...
... terminée.
Synchronisée avec le réseau.

so i don't understand, somebody can help a beginner ?

and sorry if it's the wrong place to ask my question, really.

What is the BTC address that you are inputting?

The "elbitcoingratis" site is one that supposedly will send you free bitcoins.  So.. to give an address to them, you need to create and open your Multibit wallet and click on "Request".  There you will see it's generated an address for you to use. You can copy and paste it to the web site (so you don't type any errors), and they can then send your bitcoins there.  Since English is not your native language, have you seen to use this page on the Multibit web site?  http://translate.multibit.org/
