Currently, it is somewhat unique in the fact that was taken over by the community, so is truly decentralized/community run in that sense.

It was the first X15 PoW followed by PoS, but since PoW is now over, that is not really as big of deal. But the new community dev team already appears hard at work to improve this coin and make it more unique in the future.

I can only really echo what cryptocointools has already said. Our biggest difference from 95% off the coins is we have an Active Dev. We may not have a fancy new feature no one has ever heard about but I can tell you we will be here tomorrow. We will be working on coming up with new beneficial things however we have not been at the controls for a week at this point so we are focusing on getting a solid base. I have already announced a few things we are looking at doing. Are any of them ground breaking? No, but they all add value to the coin. They will create the solid foundation for this coin. I hope to have you on board.

We are definitely going to be working on marketing this coin. We figured we should wait just a little bit before we start advertising because we are still working on the website, multipool, some minor wallet updates, weekly prize drawings on the website.... Once all of this is done we will start to push more on advertising.

FireCoin-QT should work for Windows XP. I have run many similar QT wallets on a XP server setup before.
