Doing a little web searching, reading up on everything crypto & found this Proof of Dev's site. This shows a lot from tom14cat14 & team, will have to call this an honest & transparent coin now. http://cryptoasian.com/fire-firecoinx15/

P.S. Don't let the dumpers get you down tom14cat14, there will always be people who sell & once FIRE gets into the long term holders hands. Things will change & the price will rise, but it takes time. Keep working hard @ it, maybe you will see a few real investors (big or small) & they will be thinking long term.

I agree.
This coin definitely has a future.
Developer is very active here on the forum and the IRC channel ## firecoin.

Thanks for the support.

Hi Tomcat,

We are with you!

Just wanted to further our conversation on chat the other day, maybe you should look at introducing services that you are good at. For example, CPN allows users to register a hosting package for 10 CPN. Maybe look at some service that you can provide and charge for the said service in Firecoin. Offer a discount on the service from your regular fee /charge and you will have a winner!

Best of luck, i will keep stopping by as i am now a fire investor! Smiley

I guess does anyone want to go for a Plane ride? Payment in fire is accepted. (I am a pilot so will have to thing about what I am good at lol)

Weekly Contest

So far only 15 entries. Those are some pretty good odds to win almost $150

This Weeks Contest will be for .25 BTC.
Drawing will be 8/10 2pm central USA (7pm GMT)

How to enter. Go to our website http://firecoin.tk/community/weekly-drawing/. I will use you tx ID as your entry ticket and if you buy multiple entries I will add appropriate number of entries. I will draw from all tx ID's the winner AUG 10th 7pm GMT.
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-FIRE

Cost of entries
1 entry equals 20 Fire
12 entries equal 200 Fire

Please only send in increments of 20 or 100. ie: 20 40 400 not 25.

I have also had to raise the price for entry due to the cost per FIRE has dropped since last week and I am offer a larger prize this week. At Current price it is roughly $1 per entry for a chance to win $150. Please spread the word. The more entries we get the more I will raise next weeks prize and the lower I can keep entry costs.

Well I even went 1 step further right now. Instead of saying you can fill out the form to get the 3k sat buy back. I have now place a big enough buy order to buy up at 3k sat. so if you want out dump now. Otherwise time to start building off of it.

OH on the merchant front. I hope to have exciting news soon.  And please dont pump based on this news. If it fails dont say I didnt warn you!!!  But I am talking with a few other coin developers and we are thinking about teaming up. This will cut costs for new innovations that we might implement. It will also increase our market size which will hopefully increase vendors willing to sell there. So one is in the process of making what looks like a pretty nice market place. The other already has a auction site set up. We are in the early stages of setting this up but we are hopeful to make this benefit all coins involved.

Is the wallet only 64 bit? Doesn't seem run on an older 32 bit system.

Let me check Maybe i loaded the 64 bit and not the 32.

I can confirm that it works on Windows 32bit Vista Business, windows 7 64bit & Windows 8.1 64bit. Unless you've just changed the upload from the 26th? Did you just change it, cause I made the switch on the 32bit on the 26th & just had it open?

Edit: If you just uploaded a new one, is it an update from the 26th?

I did just change it. We had the 64 bit up. Then someone had problems so we updated it to the 32 bit but I loaded the wrong file the other day.

Does it need firecoind to run? firecoind is 81M in size which is 10x+ bigger than any other similar file from any other coin I have. Because it's so large, I would think it's not right. Plus I can't scan it on virustotal because of the size. So I renamed it but the wallet doesn't run.

That's actually about the normal size of a daemon if it's not been stripped of debugging code. I've compiled most of my own and I don't care about the extra space, and they're all around that size.

The other one is not needed. I normally just leave it alone and only run the QT. Make sure you have the daemon closed.

Just an addenda for those that aren't used to command line daemons. you can stop it by typing Firecoind  stop on the command line, or by going into the task manager and finding and ending Firecoind.

What exactly is it doing or not doing? I'm fairly good at troubleshooting wallets.

Run it and it immediately pops up a dialog with "firecoin-Qt (OSS GUI client for firecoin) has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I run 12 other wallets. Only other problem I've had is a coin I tried to get running called Hyper and that one fails when it gets to loading the block index.
