I put all TX id's on a google document shared publicly. Each Id has a number associated with it. I will use random.org to choose a number and the TX id associated with that number is the winner. All Tx id's will be confirmed when payment is sent.

I have also had to raise the price for entry due to the cost per FIRE has dropped since last week and I am offer a larger prize this week. At Current price it is roughly $1 per entry for a chance to win $60. Please spread the word.

Like most alts right now this has taken a beating so maybe someone is buying what they think is the bottom.  I've been doing the same with a few other coins as well.

FireCoin is excellent buying opportunity right now.

Ok so I have been talking to other coins to work with them and help build out all of our communities. The first coin is Global Denomination. They have offered to add us to their auction site https://crypto-auctions.com/#4307aa708684 . This would allow us to buy and sell there for Fire. We believe this is the best way to move forward in terms of market place. Each coin does not need its own mnarket place otherwise each one will remain small. If we combine a few communities on this site it will help attract more sellers/buyers. They would like to know if the community has interest and if we will have things ready to list. I also have another marketplace I am working on getting us added too. It is still being built but close to being down. I will give out more info on this site once the plans are finalized.

I didn't chime in because life has handed me a box of shit (again) and I have multiple emergencies to deal with in addition to a full work schedule. I am quite interested, but unable to do a damn thing about it for at least a couple of weeks.

No worries. Take care of your issues. You talk to me in skype our main concern is there are over 3600 addresses and yet only 5-10 people talk. So either we all have 500 addresses or most people do not want to be an active part of the community.

I think getting FIRE added to a market-place such as www.Crypto-Auctions.com would be great.
We need to start somewhere and I agree, there is no need to make a FIRE only marketplace, as that would probably have an even harder time taking off.
I can't make any promises but I have a few steam gifts and such I believe I could sell on there in exchange for FIRE coins.
If there are any others with some things they could sell that would be great way to help advertise and support FireCoin.

Then you can add it to the merchant list, custom build PC's (ready out of the box, plug & play) & also a monthly school/work non-profit donation program is the plan/dream. Hopefully end of the year, maybe sooner or later.

Agreed  Never hurts to have a few merchants, but they need to have quality items (my 2 fires).

having spoken to the dev in irc today ,this seems to be a good bet. he seems to be honest and has taken this coin on for the right reasons so i will be investing in this and also mining on the multipool. i'm sick of trying coins that turn out to be scams so this is my safe haven for now

was wondering if you could fix the issue with my wallet. Had to reinstall it when it went corrupt and i used the same zip you sent me to install it onto my system. Now the Fire wallet stays open but does not find any peers to sync up to. IIRC, all i did last time was to install the wallet. I did not play around with any conf file or anything. Seems strange that the wallet has just given up the ghost!

Simple fix that MIGHT work: Delete peers.dat
If you have a bad node in there, it will go away and stop causing trouble.
