tom14cat14 - How long will the payouts be happening for? I'm assuming this is short term?
Nope this is long term. I pay every 5 (Seems to be a could length so I am not sending under $1 to people) Just so I understand correctly, the payouts are based on how much FireCoin an individual has in their wallet? Or is it dependent on the amount of donations you get for hashing power? Since PoW is over with, no more coins can be mined. Are you aware of any pools that exchange mined coins for FireCoin? We have a multi pool that will automatically send you payments in Fire. It is listed in the OP. And yes the payouts are based on your % of coins out to those that are enrolled. For example this payout we had 44,931 Fire enrolled one of the addresses had 1817 Fire or 4.04% of the enrolment pool. They received 4.04% of the pools earnings.

So if i have 1,000 today, but 2,000 tomorrow, will that reflect on the output percentage? If not is there a way to update you on a new higher balance? Sorry for all the questions

Sorry for all the questions I go through the block explorer and look for your new balance. I can tell which coins are staked even though they might not show in your balance. Once you are enrolled you just have to stay above 750. So you can drop to 750 or add more coins as you wish and you will get paid for your % that are in your address at the time that I check right before paying everyone.

So I was just looking at some more numbers. I see 10 addresses that are within 100 Fire of qualifying for profit share. This means at most if they bought their 100 Fire now it would cost them about .015 BTC or $7. The min payout this week was over $1 meaning after 7 payouts they will have bought their 100 coins for free. The would still have those coins to sell. That is $35 days and you gained 100 free Fire. I do not get what they are waiting for. If you are that close why would you not take the chance buy the coins to get the min and just collect your BTC. Sometimes people boggle my mind.

New wallet is working nicely. I love the new features. Sounds great! I've wanted to test the new wallet, but my VM is officially dead so I need to rebuild it.

Hey,
Just wanted to let you know I also received my payout in BTC, done the math and it's not bad over a year especially when you consider the interest from POS. Thanks tom14.

OK, decided to get some firecoin too! There was supposed to be a post showing how to get 750 coins for $45? But I can't find that anywhere. Can you repost?

I think he was referring to how much it would cost to purchase them from an exchange at current rates.

Ah, seems price has gone up and you can't get 750 coins for that much anymore at Ask price. Will need about $55 now on Bittrex.

tom14cat14 - how often is the block explorer updated? I have more coins in my wallet than what shows on http://blockexperts.com/fire after about 12 hours of waiting for an update.

It is somewhat random. It usually updates at least twice a day from what I have seen. Just send me an email about how many coins are added and I normally can track it down. You also have a few days until Next Payment.

Yes I was just doing some math for people at the current rate. Prices have gone up a bit since then.
