Here, "quarter" means calendar quarter, i.e., 1st quarter = Jan through March, etc.

Also, let's define a "bubble" as at least a 5x gain within a 4 month time period.

What bubble?
The Bitcoin fundamentals are extremely strong now, so we don't do "bubbles" anymore, just HUGE Rallies.  Grin

650-700 is close to peak.

Correction from this level won't surprise me.

peaking? i'm more concerned about the next bubble starting. and to be entirely honest, it wouldn't surprise me not to see another bubble for another year or more.

Who knows, now that the option exists to short Bitcoin - which wasn't the case during last years big rally - there's now an incentive and as much profit to be made on the downside as well as on the upside

so it's anyone's guess.. the moon would be lovely though

I'm expecting a new bubble in the late 2014 / start of the new year.
Looking at the charts seems that we are in the middle of a calm healthy period
which will contribute to build up trust and buy pressure in the following months.

I need to bookmark this thread! Ha, that'll be fun. I think we're still spot on with the bubble. People seem to know that, the bears aren't very successful anymore in pushing the price down. It seems, we can't go below 615. We're still on the right track at the right time!

I am guessing it may peak at 800 for the short term as far as cost of production is concerned.

Price level above this point will invite more miners which really do not bring in more supply but redistribute the hash distribution.

Nah, you're not around long enough. If we reach the 800s, we've definitely entered a rock-solid Bull market. We'll see a month-long rise to the low 1000s and then enter the bubble. That's the plan.
