We need to get the word out about MultiCoin. I'm working now on increasing our visibility to people who have never heard of MultiCoin or it's capabilities. If we join the fudders in a battle of slander, no one wins. If you have the ability and want to see MC do great things, tweet your friends, post a link or positive comment about MultiCoin on Facebook, or simply tell a friend about this new coin you found that is Awesome.

Yeah, well, I am pretty sure that getting the word out for a coin is as simple as getting the coin added to exchanges.  You see, people will look up a coins info when it appears new on an exchange.  So, you should probably take action there. 

That is not my decision to make, but yours. You all decide the fate of MC through voting and we believe in you.

So the decision of the community is to add MC after PoW ends.  That makes zero sense.  I bet most of the votes for this are small miners with small hash, worried about not getting coins after mulitpools jump in.  BAD CHOICE community.  Adding a coin before PoS starts is how a coin will get the publicity it needs, and the price it deserves.  You shouldn't put the future of your coin in the hands of others.

The groundwork is there, we have already successfully created the first reliable multisig altcoin. You have that right now.

We can say with certainty that it is safe and reliable. This took months of testing to be certain of. We can't have a wallet that works 99% of the time and 1% of the time all your money disappears. No wallet can risk less than 100% uptime and expect to survive. So any future updates we may add must first pass the same rigorous testing. No one else has been able to accomplish what we have already done so far. That is indisputable. We are not finished with being the best quite yet. We'll keep you updated but this is a complicated task and we are here for the duration.

Yeah, well, I am pretty sure that getting the word out for a coin is as simple as getting the coin added to exchanges.  You see, people will look up a coins info when it appears new on an exchange.  So, you should probably take action there. 

From what i noticed for the last months it goes like this , coin appears on exchange on the 1st day and all people are dumping it ,whales accumulating , people are stopping mining because it is very very cheap and they are waiting to the end of POW to start buying.

Here i think MC has the advantage as the whales spent a lot of money already to mine , small miners now have a chance to mine really nice amount of coins , new buyers won`t be waiting for the POW to end and only great specs, dev and marketing of the coin will decide about its value. Of course first days on the exchange will be crazy as new big buyers will want it cheap but look at coin swap how small amount of people want to sell their small amount of coins cheap.

End of POW is only couple of days ahead and remember multi sig anon in place , fork shield , fast transactions , and keyjoin will be implemented so bright future ahead

No worries. In a situation where the people are almost evenly divided we will balance the two. We are planning to have exchanges lined up and ready for you, rather than waiting till the last minute to ask for listing consideration. Even then, we may balance it out  day or 2 early if the vote stays so evenly divided like it is now.

Agreed. Also we have  big advantage in that others may clone us but we are certainly something special already. That in and of itself should help people to decide what is fud and what is not.

Maybe is this the reponse to my question? It seems that there is a roadmap, right? Keyjoin, fork shield... We all know that in the crypto world updates and announcements are the " fuel" of the game. This coin is already safe and stable but other things will coming. This is what I wanted to know

Ok, so this coin was designed to the needs of the small miner?  This is the problem.  I see the Dev asking people to spread the word and get people involved in MC coin because he has listened to the small miners.  The hashrate is down to 13gh, and 2 of that is mine.  A new coin shouldn't need to be advertised.  There should be 100+gh at min on this coin right now with the short PoW it has.  I hope all this works out for everybody invlolved, but I really doubt it.  You think anyone is going to buy a PoS coin they know nothing about?? I see this coin going to the exchanges late, getting no volume, because everything was done backwards here.  Good luck to us all.

I can't give you a definitive date on expansion updates at this time. All of our work for so long still depends on what happens in the next few days. We are focusing on that first and will get back to making technological leaps forward after the future of MC is not teetering on factors like exchange adoption. Our priority now must be the long term establishment of MC as a widely adopted currency.

I'm not going to string anyone along with the promises of something we cannot deliver. There may come a time when we say "ok, this just isn't working" and go back to the drawing board. We have thrown out some really really great ideas already because they just weren't compatible with reality or the direction we are going in now. Tomorrow, another coin may come out with something else no one has thought of yet, something amazing and we may decide to create our own way of adding xx feature if it benefits you more. No, I cannot give you the promises so many others have lied about just to keep you engaged. We have now something better than they do. Anyone who disagrees is probably another coin dev scared that their obsolete coin cannot compete, or extortionists pretending to fix our slander issues for money.

Keyjoin is mostly there already. You can share keys by just telling someone what one of the three passcodes is. It can always be better. No idea is perfect forever. We still have some work to do, especially a better interface. We worried that changing the familiar layout too much in the beginning would confuse some people and potentially drive them away. It is a delicate balance and we choose to err on the side of caution rather than risk everything for a quick profit.

I think there are many out there waiting for a handout to give their followers the seal of approval. It saddens me to say that with so many pointless copies of each other, this was the only way another renamed replica could gain notoriety and some fatcats used this to their advantage. I cannot force people to like new things or bribe them see the value in a tree that grows money. We certainly must hold steady and refrain from perpetuating what we know to be immoral for a quick profit in an industry accustomed to this principle. Most industries in the world are accustomed to this principle. In the face of adversity, we will prevail. Believe that.

Mining depends on the funds that someone can spend for bigger or smaller profit and so we are here the big and small miner and we are together very interested in the "backwards solution" when everything what others are working on is in place. Thanks. I forgot about that for a moment. Multipools are a huuuuge amount of hash and they would just dump and dump and dump while driving the difficulty so high, no one else would attempt to mine against them. It was intentional that we eliminated this factor from the equation and I hope we did not offend too many people in doing this.

Roadmap is a good idea. Dev, see what Evan did with DarkCoin having timelines and dates with specific items to accomplish and follow in those footsteps.
As far as exchange goes, there are many wanting to dump immediately and move on. Personally I still don't see what's so special about Multicoin' multi-sig however I think you might have some good ideas that need more developing; would be truly epic if you kept off exchanges until you had a legitimate product that met a legitimate need.

We could have engineered it differently and cashed out a heft sum already. Instead, we stuck with honor and dignity and reward those who do the same. In fact, I am now sifting through the old posts to pay everyone who submitted logo ideas 100 MC. Even though we my not have used their logo, they are a part of our family and we will never ever forget that.
