Sounds like he wants to be able to "prove" he got 420 bitcoins from mining, rather than however they were actually obtained. Tax purposes?

Wow how many people are there out there who even mined 420 BTC last year?  Actually, I wonder what's up with your request.  In the US, tax filing season is long gone.  What year are you looking for? (I think that is important too.)  Also, if the authorities are clever, they will check the addresses and how will you be able to show the Bitcoins going from that address to an address you control?  I guess maybe that last point would fly over the average regulator's head.
