Yup, just a fork like most of the rest. Except this one has a great team behind it.

In the sense of best features and best layout, I can't say because I don't know enough coins to have a final opinion.

The BitShares wallet is very nice looking.  No more sending to an address, now just uses names.

Second on the Nxt, although I discovered Wesley's client indirectly through its fork for the Nxt clone I'm involved with, NFD. NFD's version is not only stylishly coloured, but also comes with add-ons thanks to the hard work of lordoliver and the rest of the UX team - professionals all.
