I basically stumbled upon this article http://www.eteknix.com/21-year-old-earned-1000-a-day-by-hacking-league-of-legends/ Some guy basically got arrested twice and had $110k worth of Bitcoins seized(read near the end of the article).

the article doesn't load.. the website seems to be offline
anyways its proceeds of crime. what does it matter if it bitcoins or fiat ? i bet 100x fiat gets sized from people every second day.

you don't have to hack people to make $1,000 a day online...I have done it before but it was with paypal and they suck because of fraud but now that I'm in bitcoin....I will be there again soon  Wink

Kid's a genius! Too bad they seized so many of his assets though. Probably would have been nice to get your $200,000 and then lay low for a while, as to not attract attention.

I'm not worried about a sell-off, $110k isn't a lot, about 178BTC, not like the 28kBTC auction the marshals did. $110k would do very little.

I have to laugh at how he gained access through an unchanged password. I wonder what happened to the employee...
