The best any of us can do is rely on mathematical models to give us confidence in our own educated guesses as to whether the exchange value of a Bitcoin will go up or down tomorrow. Anyone who tells you any differently has a wagon full of snake oil to sell.

“Predicting the future price of any asset is a very difficult undertaking,” cryptocurrency researcher Fernando Ulrich told CoinTelegraph. “Even more so for a totally new and unprecedented asset like cryptocurrencies in general, and Bitcoin in particular.”

Technical analysis is nothing more than financial astrology.

I'm wondering if they're alluding to a black swan event in a positive or a negative connotation. Since the future is unknown, guess it could be either but w/ all the upside to BTC I imagine the former.

Technical analysis is nothing more than financial astrology.

There is no need for a complete analysis.. you just need to know the price in 2016.

The models need to be filled with a lot of data, to make even a somewhat accurate prediction. There is so much data out there, that it is confusing which data will be useful and which not - and in addition it is often messed up data (in various forms).

I don't think it is possible to predict anything for 100%. or event with 50% probability when it comes to price.
