lol everytime i see an altcoins launching i'm laughing hard...

Do you noobs realize they're essentially making btc out of this? So they sell their ultimate coins for BTC and guess what noob? so they can hold more btc. All ppl behind these projects are already btc rich. If they truly believe their alt coins are.... "bitcoin2.0" they would have dumped their btc.

Someone should really do a research on how many btc "lost" to all the altcoins project. Also their favorite victims are the "early btc adopters" who are already btc rich.... throwing 1-10 btc to every alt coins project is nothing right? LOL

Why buy altcoins when you can make your own out of bitdust with Chromawallet? Damnedcoin is soon to IPO using your own bitcoin dust.

2,780,359 ETH sold.

If they sell it at 2000 ETH per bitcoin, that mean they have around 1390 bitcoin (around 800k usd) to do whatever they want.

So, the question, what do they do with these kind of money and why they need that much?

you have 2 week to think about it before they become more expensive.
you have 41 days to think about it before you can't buy them until their genesis block goes live.
The funniest thing I've seen all day is Mircea Popescu selling Ether futures, 5000/btc deliverable 2015-03-15.

So I invest $1000 but this is a $30 million IPO... that gives me 0.0000033% of all Ethereum.    There's no guarantee that Ethereum will hit billions, either.  Actually it's almost guarantee it won't hit $1 billion as the general public is largely not interested in buying into a ponzi scheme ran by rich investors.

The people who bought Mastercoin, Max Coin, Maidsafe, et cetera, would had made more money off NxT, Dogecoin, Dark, et cetera.

Purchase a little but not too much this is basically going to be on standby until December at least
Ethereum will not be tradable on the exchanges or released till this date.

But as others said BTC is the mainstay

As of now and as with any pre-sale, the risk is extremely high but the rewards may also be as high. Your call.

If you ask me, I'm not going to sit here and watch this pass or even make conclusions immediately. Read up, test, and decide.  Wink

I'm not going to say this will make money, but people should realize they aren't trying to be BTC 2.0. It's a very different type of coin for a different purpose. I'm not even sure it'd be considered a cryptocurrency in the traditional sense.
