So I know Coinbase has different prices for them...but I swear everytime someone posts these "What is going on with price" Or "wooo price is rising tons"  it is exactly the opposite of what is happening at Coinbase.

I woke up this morning and it was down to $580 per coin, it is now at $605, so a $25 dollar increase today(I didn't check on it yesterday) but seems rather odd....I read a post the other day that said its been going up for the last 3 weeks....It went down $25 dollars at Coinbase in 3 weeks....so who knows?

Prices are down because people are selling. And people are selling because they panic to see prices down.

When they realize there's nothing bad going on, prices will go up again.

Floor support of last bubble (end of 2013) was 500 as predicted by the www.BitcoinAlgorithm.com so when ever it gets near 500 or a little lower it will come back just based on broad amount of users now that support the $500 floor.

Next major bubble is 10K peak and 5K floor support and as the www.BitcoinAlgorithm.com explains, it is entirely dependent on one thing, the real core user base growing from 700K users (end of 2013) to 7M users (projected users end of 2014).

My Wallets info on BlockChain.info seems to be a decent approximation of width of user based and you just need to create a percentage of user base as a fraction of total population then take that fraction and divide into GWP then divide by 21M bitcoins and you have a floor value to bitcoin that IS REAL and based upon real economic data and not just news and dumps and buys.

Any major news today to drop btc 7% today, 625 latest range so 580 was 7% drop and it recovered half in same day.

Were any wallets moved today?

Someone dumping a position maybe since value growth has been flat a while now.

Maybe a short term investor looking for huge growth and dumping after short ride??

The floor was 500 end of 2013, the floor should be 5K end of 2014, as you all know when btc moves up, it jumps REAL FAST, and that jump will happen soon.

This is one of things which makes Bitcoin not so practical these days. I am earning Bitcoins and dont want to hold all of them, but also to spend them on different things and services. For example I liked something yesterday and wanted to buy it today, but as the price of BTC goes down I have to spend more BTC on that and this makes me regret that I pay more for something. Have you been there?

Holy crap... I dunno, though. I'm going to be quite skeptical about that prediction. Especially as I look through most of the site...

That does seem like a logical scenario, however. I, for one, wouldn't be opposed to it happening. But I also find it had to believe it will plateau at $10k. I'll expect it to go up as time progresses.

Many are selling, because they think that going from 590 to 570 was a huge drop, now when the fools will sell their coins, it will go up again.

I see you spreading the same FUD on multiple threads. Let people make their own decision based on how they see the crypto market. Don't be the grim-reaper my friend. I see that you have been predicting the downfall of BTC for some time and just maybe you are right, but let people make an informed decision on their own. If they want to speculate and keep their BTC, just let them. Dont spread panic in the ranks of people who are just jumping onto the BTC bandwagon Smiley. Peace.

I was wondering about this as well. The price is moving up and down like crazy. Just went on my laptop and it was $525. Then refreshed the page and it was barely above $500. Refreshed it a couple of minutes later and it was $515. Yesterday I think it was $560-ish. A week ago, it was sitting above $600. What the heck?

I have limited $$$ not fully verified yet on coinbase...so put in like a token 79.49 usd or some such
for bitcoin at someting like 508 usd as a mental bet it won't 'stay long' under 500.....and bounce around
above that 500 usd mark at least (who knows?)

more an act to appease the asic gods then any real good it will do...but hey.....wtf

(this being optimistic however is somewhat scary...you feel so damn 'hopeful' shudder)
