Originally, I cashed out of CEX.io
still wondering if it's worth going back to it

CEX.io is a scam in a way that it is absolutely impossible to make a gain unless you daily trade.
If you trade, that mean you take money from people that are already taking a loss.
It is clearly a fool game.

and bought NXT in hopes of making a small profit off of Forging.
BIG MISTAKE

So you are the kind of people that invest without knowing what they are doing ?
You could just ask about the ROI of forging before investing.

Now with what I have left over, I was wondering what a good PoS coin/IPO/Whatever I should invest it in.
Still a newbie to the markets and with so many coin clones floating around, it's hard to find something worthy.

Again, you're going to invest in something you don't understand ?
Doing the same mistake over and over ?

I think Ethereum, Maidsafe and Storj are for you if you want to lose the few money left.

Well said.

Do not repeat the same mistake over and over again.

Bitshares X.

At this point its a great bargain, and I believe you'll never see these prices ever.

Peercoin still seems like the best PoS coin, because it has a better distribution through PoW than most other coins.

Plus, it is not hyped at all compared to most of the other new coins, which means it probably isn't in an artificial pump phase.

Frankly I'm shocked at the current price of BTSX, and have continued buying more...fairly certain it'll be erupting in the next few weeks once BitAssets hit. That, plus TITAN and DPOS and the fact owning BTSX gives you an equity interest in future BTS-X chain DACs...the future outlook is incredible IMHO.

Peercoin is the most tried and true PoS coin, definitely worth a look

but I think BitShares X is by far the most innovative PoS variant on the block

...basically it's an awesome form of anon that can send to any account name that's registered on the blockchain (for example, if you wanted to send me BTSX you'd send it to "nomoreheroes7" instead of a random string of letters/numbers like all other coins).

If you invest/mine/whatever in 10 coins, be prepared to lose with 9 of them, and profit on 1. If you are not comfortable with those numbers don't go for PoS.

XC? X11 Coin. It looks like a copy of Darkcoin with some added features. Not sure if I'd want to invest in it.

What makes it the best PoS coin to invest in?

Clearly its cloakcoin!

Clearly? Would you mind defining why it's clear?
Cloakcoin does look interesting but I've never seen a coin with such a short PoW time.
It does look better then XC, I must admit.

TBH, there are like 101 reasons why. I wont name them all but here is a short list:
-In wallet trading
-OneMarket
-CloakSend
-CloakChat
-PoSA (fully working anon transactions. 1st in crypto)
-Best dev team in the business
-Strongest community I have ever seen
-Access your wallet from your smart phone
I can keep going but I have other things to do. Check out the thread, read the OP, join the IRC and start asking questions and you'll get all info you'll need

This coin is the one and only winner. DRK is a complete joke and all the DRK sheep are finally waking up and jumping ship rubber dingy. It's ok though, Cloakcoin camp is read and willing to have them jump on our fully working tip top mega-yacht.
