The premine was explained in the OP. The coins will be used for bounties for merchants. We chose to do this -- which we can accomplish with a premine of less than 2% -- as opposed to the alternative that others use, which is 50% premine plus "air drop". |

Thus we are able to have a 1.9% premine instead of the 50% premine common among other location-based coins. |
