Are you saying the value is the fact that it's printed on a bitbill? I'm confused as to why someone would buy this versus just buying BTC.

I could understand there being such a high premium for physical bitcoins. No idea why you think a scrap of paper which could be made on any printer deserves a 0.50 bitcoin premium. You're asking more than most want for 1B Brass Casascius - which has more prestige.

AFAIK Bitbills were the first approach to create "physical Bitcoin", they are way more resistent against scratches and stuff, you may find some information in the mighty Bitcoin Wiki: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitbills

It seems like you can remove the cover of the Casascius Coins without breaking the seal (search it yourself), I dont't know any way to open the Bitbill without destroying it.

From what I remember, these were one of the first physical bitcoin's on the market? I can't recall seeing any of these for sale recently.

Well it wouldnt be an auction without the man with more alias's than a CIA agent chancing his arm ....

When will the Mods do something about this ?

New user name creation should need to have more 'uniqueness' to prevent similar names being created purely for the purpose of ripping folks off

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=709463.0

Unfortunately the auction is up, was hoping for significantly more for it than then winning bid buts thats my prob as there was no reserve price Sad

Total due : 1.5BTC

Payment address :

1K46E3BGbpnZvCGUCTzqndbHJ3u6mprfFv

After payment message me the transaction I.D and your address.

Will you just fuck off and die

The repeated scam attempts using slightly changed usernames for every fucking auction are now just plain boring

Do something useful, somewhere else, instead. Sooner or later, you are gonna trip yourself up, and reveal who you are. Quit while you are ahead.

They are pretty rare...my guess most were redeemed.  The last complete sets I have seen sold were by Coblee about 1 year back.

Do you still have the set? Interested in selling it?

If your seriously interested make me an offer.

Do people actually fall for this kind of stuff?

Time up ?

We agreed to an "staged payment", since the buyer does not have any connection to the WoT of Bitcoin-otc and I don't know (and don't trust) any trusted escrow provider in here.

I will send you the bitbill via a registered and insured (700€)

will send the second part (0.75btc + 0.03 btc for the shipping) to
the address stated before.
