i did a couple of stints in jail for some pretty boneheaded things. Jail sucks, and it only seems cool in the movies. In reality, its a living hell.

You can tell the OP hasn't been in the 'system' he still calls it 'jail'.

Jail is what petty theifs go to who don't have bail in the county level.

CRIMINALS do numbers as in YEARS

You do your bit in the joint or PRISON

Fellow inmates speak like this

So what's your number down the road

Or what's your number up state

NUMBER IS HOW MANY YEARS you gonna do in the REAL CRIMINAL UNIVERSITY

PRISON

haha

If you deal with criminals like CRIMINAL LAWYERS do you learn the lingo

You guys wouldn't last 3 minutes in the yard without having some punk take all your stuff.

haha

Now if you have a few belts in martial arts, you the king of the yard since you're what they call a JAW BREAKER

That means one strike fist or foot you take jaws sideways and the dude is WIRED for a bit

JAIL

JAIL is for pussies

CRIMINALS DO NUMBERS

It's called PRISON

What do you call the dude in the joint with his own cell, chick CO's visiting him at night in his cell, his hut runs the blocks commissary, he has the cigs and everyone bows to him when he leaves his cell

He has whatever he wants

Cell phones
TV
Pussy
Stacks on the books

If you know how to ride your bit out, it's not that bad, Ballers don't do hard time, they chill like they're home

Broke ass bitches with no dough find it tough

PS Not me posting, it's one of my buddies, he  is here LAUGHING AT YOU PUSSIES begging me to post in a jail thread, it's PRISON and he did 5 years for almost killing an undercover cop WITH HIS BARE HANDS when he ripped him off, if someone owes me money I give him their number if you know what I mean

haha

oh me in jail? A LOT, but it was always visiting dumb ass buddies or bailing them out, haha, damn those places stink

What a ridiculous thread. I've spent a little over a year locked up myself though unfortunately, it's nothing that makes you cool. A close friend just got out from his 17 year sentence.

A couple weeks in the Juvenile side (which is worse than the adults because no POD time or cigs.)

It wasn't bad.

I pretty much just ate every ones peanut butter sandwiches.  Taught little kids how to breath heavy then hold your breath and get dizzy Tongue

Learned I didn't want to go to jail though because I like picking what I eat!

Was fighting two 19 year olds over a Carton of cigs... silly kid shit Tongue lol

loose lips sink ships.

I haven't spent any time in jail, and I don't plan on spending any time in there at all.

Based on what I've heard/read, it's not a pleasant place to be in.

So no thanks  Grin

For people who have zero skills and are lazy jail is actually good. It provides 3 meals per day and a bed to sleep on. These are things that some people cannot get on their own.

It's not really that simple. Have you ever heard about the sort of violence and sexual violence that occurs within prisons? Are 3 meals a day and a bed worth the threat of getting raped or shivved?
