is selling database of people with credit cards allowed here in bitcointalk?

What is quite remarkable is that actually possessing or selling the database may not be illegal, there have been some interesting cases. Only "obtaining it" and "using it" are.

If they can't prove you stole them and can't prove you used them you may be in the clear.

if you really wanna do it though, try taking it to the derpweb. torchan is probably your best bet. somebody on there will probably want to buy. just be careful with it, whatever you do. law enforcement is everywhere.

Laws in the US prevent you from doing this and there would be no way around it. With anything like this obtaining and selling a database of people's credit card details I would has it a guess is strongly frowned up on in many places as it can lead to fraud. I can not see it going well for you either if they where able to link back to you some how that you sold the details to whoever bought the database.

go "sdelete.exe" or "shred" on *nix !

Your an asshole for keeping that, how would you like it if someone kept a spreadsheet with your information and credit cards on it? Its a crime in every jurisdiction as far as Im aware (as its theft).

I find it unbelievable that anyone would want to obtain this kind of information let alone want to pass it on to others for their own benefit and to cash in. This is illegal in most Countries and is strongly frowned up on. I definitely wouldn't even advise you selling these kind of details on.

I don't think the OP is trying to sell the credit card numbers, but rather the identities of the people who have credit cards.

Although not as illegal I still think doing this would be against the law and not allowed on these forums.

LOL I would doubt that the OP is law enforcement. I don't think there is that large of a market for this type of illegal information on this forum for law enforcement to setup (or try to setup) a sting operation.
