What's the difference between this "Neo"Scrypt and ordinary Scrypt or Scrypt-N?

scammy dev riding the new algo, posting and go away

Actually I'm here. New accounts don't allow much in the way of replies however.

I set the "display online/offline flag" to disabled.

钱包没有,挖掘工具没有,你他M的白痴?什么都没有开你M个B,就说几句鸟语就能做币。不会做回学校去,看着就碍眼。看不懂么?看不懂GOOLE去。

As stated - you can mine from the wallet itself.

There is a cpu miner for neoscrypt - https://github.com/ghostlander/cpuminer

However it is untested with this coin. The "profile" settings are 0x3.

What's the difference between this "Neo"Scrypt and ordinary Scrypt or Scrypt-N?

The whitepaper is here: http://phoenixcoin.org/archive/neoscrypt_v1.pdf

你只发源码,还是没有什么进展啊。我看过你的介绍,不是要8月10号发射妈?怎么提前了。还有,之前你的文章没有提到用GPU挖掘是否节能。

NeoScrypt doesn't appear to be that "energy efficient" in that it is an scrypt-esque algorithm. I'm sorry that we don't have the full suite of options available from launch. There are bounties available for anyone who wishes to take up this task.

What would be the point. The reason I set the subsidy this way is to give people a fair chance to get things up and running.

I've updated the OP now and the cpuminer from ghostlander works with this coin - just need to use altscrypt as algo.

It seems very early for WTB requests. The premine is primarily for bounties and services.

Dev, can you please confirm I'm on the right chain?

{
    "blocks" : 73,
    "currentblocksize" : 1000,
    "currentblocktx" : 0,
    "difficulty" : 0.00024414,
    "errors" : "",
    "generate" : true,
    "genproclimit" : 6,
    "hashespersec" : 9848,
    "networkhashps" : 4091,
    "pooledtx" : 0,
    "testnet" : false
}

Yes you are on the correct chain.

Thanks! However, there are no blocks yet. I seem to have solid hashrate and yet 0 blocks found. What is the real network hashrate now?

What version of this cpu miner works?

I have the latest version and it doesn't recognize the algo.

https://github.com/ghostlander/cpuminer

And you need to use -a altscrypt

I'm working on it - but its not very fast to compile on an i3 laptop :/

Of course if anyone else wants to do this, the bounty is available.

Please, can you just let me know so I don't waste my hashrate is if I made some mistake... there are no blocks yet. I seem to have solid hashrate and yet 0 blocks found. Difficulty is still very low. What is the real network hashrate now? Can I see my unconfirmed transactions or balance shows only confirmed ones?

minerd.exe -a altscrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:25555 -u supersecret -p supersupersecret -t 8

What is wrong?

I have the win64 latest version miner from the link you gave.
