Anyone mining solo with multiple rigs? I've got the wallet running on a windows 7 x64 machine and I'm trying to mine solo from several rigs, but it seems that there might be a problem with the Doomcoin wallet because it doesn't accept more than 4 connections at the same time! Only 4 rigs can connect to the wallet and they mine fine, but when I try to connect from the 5th rig, that 5th rig isn't getting any work from the wallet daemon.. if I stop mining on one of those 4 connected rigs (any one) the 5th rig connects just fine. I've tried all the combinations, all the rigs are hashing fine as long as the total number of rigs connected to the Doomcoin wallet does not exceed 4. Is this a bug in the wallet or is it a "feature" that can be disabled with some command added to the doomcoin.conf? EDIT: sorry, first asked and only then googled, found a fix: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=498752.0

could you give a brief guide on how to setup to solo mine ? I have never been able to figure it out
thanks
It's not hard, you just need to create a .conf file for the wallet (doomcoin.conf in this case) and put it in the right place (for Windows and Doomcoin it will be inside C:\users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\Doomcoin), mine looks like this: listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 rpcuser=<myUniqueNameHere-youShouldPutYoursHere> rpcpassword=<UniquePassword> rpcallowip=192.168.*.* rpcallowip=x.x.x.x rpcport=9322 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 maxconnections=100 rpcthreads=10 With rpcallowip commands you specify what mining rigs can connect to your wallet, in my case I allowed access from all machines in my home network and the 2nd rpcallowip command specifies a remote IP-address (hidden with x.x.x.x in the example above) of another mining rig of mine that is outside of my local network. After that you restart the wallet and that's it, now you can mine the same way you do when connecting to pools, just change the address and credentials in your miners' .bat/conf files so that they point to the machine that runs the wallet (your wallet is "your pool" now). When mining over a local network, the address will look something like -o 192.168.11.25:9322 (ip address of the machine running the wallet), -u will be what you called your rpcuser and -p will be your rpcpassword.

What's up with the network? No block for 50 minutes, sgminer shows the difficulty = 16k, yet suprnova's dashboard says diff = 2962.. Someone pointed lots of hashpower at doom, the diff skyrocketed and then that someone switched to mining something else, leaving the network at 16k?

We have already submitted it, you can use bitcointalk threads for website though (for future reference). Hoping soon, our goal is to have advertising space for marketing/advertisement revenue on the site. This negotiation is taking a bit. It's extremely necessary to continue Doom Fund effectively, the 1% premine will not be enough at current prices to sustain long term need the advert revenue. What's up with the network? No block for 50 minutes, sgminer shows the difficulty = 16k, yet suprnova's dashboard says diff = 2962.. strange, seen it too. back down to 1.7k We tweaked KGW to be highly aggressive in responding to major increases/decreases in hashrate, think of it as KGW Juggernaut edition. If someone tests re-targeting which is what this seemed to be it will fire back fast to halt huge spikes, then readjust very fast if they leave.

Buy 2308.51977699 Doom @ 0.00013273 Buy 1995.99996633 Doom @ 0.00014273
Later Followed by
Block: 3249
Difficulty: 16,013.8619
Interesting.
Whales on board ?
Maybe whales trying to gather more coins but there isn't much in exchange for sales at low price. Therefore they try to mine with massive hash but fail due to unique difficulty adjustment for massive hashrate
Right now there are about total of 107,000 PoW coin supply
If all the coin were to sell for price of 0.00014 it will cost about 15 BTC to buy them all.
Right now it's impossible to buy a lot of coins without moving the price too much.
If this coin were to trade on bittrex and have a volume of 50 BTC, guess where the price will go.
