Everything becomes worthless given enough time, so if this guy is still alive when it happens, I'm sure he will be telling everybody "I told you so" when it hits $30.

Well that is if Bitcoin gets superseded by a Blockchain related technology in his lifetime
In which case I would say that doesn't really count  Grin

This article is well over a year old.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

At that stage of bitcoins life, many business industry people couldn't see the wood from the trees.

Very few were able to really look at btc and see what it could actually do; instead they focused on the earliest use cases / FUD: criminality, ponzi scheme.

I'm happy I got to listen to a few of the few that knew.

Now, I actually think bitcoin is in a stronger position now than at $1200.

The concrete base has been laid, now the house can be built even though there is a long way to go.

But bitcoin already crashed to sub $10 in the first half of year, like another economic guru predicted at the start of the year.

Going back to $30 will be a good recovery

There are always tragedy guys that say bitcoin will go to 0 or to any sub 100.

90% of time people that spent less than 10 min studying bitcoin.

And 100% of the time they are wrong because that would be like India winning the next FIFA worldcup with all clean sheets and with at least 4 goals/match
