May be a dumb question... But can't you guys put the unit in another room? I suppose limited space wouldn't allow, but I've always had my miners hosted in a data center so really have no clue how loud they get.
Is it really noticable? I mean I use a fan as "white noise" to sleep all the time.
It's not crazy noisy but you can hear it if its in the same room. Like a hair dryer on a low setting. I actually have mine in a room in a lower part of the house that is cool along with some Furys, Blackwidow (also noisy) and Gridseeds (not so much) and 5 gpu rigs (quite noisy). It has fan noise and gets warm in there anyway. Best bet is to have them in a separate room if you can but if you can't put them in a area away from you and others.
