I've just got an idea, feel free to implement (if it's not implemented already), but inform me about it.

Problem
We do not know what speculation method is the best. Mathemathical, economical, psychological? Who's speculation method is the best?

Solution
Let's set up a site.

You can register.
Send in your speculation.
If the deadline of your speculation is over, then other members can judge you (give you negative, positive karma, whatever).

On the main page speculations and the author reliability is listed.

Isn't a site like this would be great?

This idea reminds me of back-testing investment strategies and bots that are based on TA and certain indicators. That way people try to figure out which strategies would have earned them the most, given prior market movements, and expect those strategies to perform equally well in the future!

Or a sportbook-style bitcoin price better(you vs the site owner).

Example(all based on predictions made in this forum):

will bitcoin price reach 1000 again this year?

Yes: 1.8
No: 1.65

Will bitcoin price reach sub 20 price this year:

Yes: 50x
No: 1.000001x

Will bitcoin price fall to 550 in 24 hours?

Yes: ---
No: ---

Think you got the idea

You can make it with real money or with fun points, and the biggest winner will get a reward or something

If you truly want to participate in something like this, why not simply create a ledger of Bitcoin addresses correlated with forum names by signed messages?  You can rank by Bitcoin balance.

Probably not everyone is okay with disclosing the exact size of his/her account and linking it to a forum persona.

Not sure which Bitcoin wallet you should use? Get Electrum!
Electrum is an open-source lightweight client: fast, user friendly, and 100% secure.
Download the source or executables for Windows/OSX/Linux/Android from, and only from, the official Electrum homepage.
