With that much profit in such a small window bitcoin will surely gain more attention from the bigger players aka the super retail stores and such other business.

Overstock ceo claimed the 1.5Bil in Overstock almost 10M was btc

So a nice amount there

Also I read somewhere the average btc trans for retailers was almost double the avg CC trans

So lot's of positive merchant news for btc

It's definitely becoming a mainstream alternative payment

Now with blockchain's wallet back in iTunes, more and more wallets are going out to the masses

The fact that more and more big retailers are taking it can only be considered positive news for btc

I think the next rally, whenever it may come if it comes, could really entice merchants to hang on to some coinage in the short term and sales could likely go up in BTC considering people may be looking to take vacations among other things in speculation profits. Wake me up when GABI sets up shop and see where we're at.

Their sales totaled some BTC2,500 in nine months time. That is business worth some BTC10 every day. Not too bad, but behind other companies which accept Bitcoin, such as Overstock.

was gonna say that as well. $1.5 USD million worth of bitcoin isn't a whole lot in the thick of things.. that's just revenues alone. i think where it helps is the exposure, and people paying more attention to them.

Expedia is accepting Bitcoin only for hotel bookings, right? And that too only for customers from the USA. I am not sure whether international users can book hotel bookings in Expedia with BTC.

But it really would be awesome if it was 1.5 million BTC! Holy cow, that would really be a hell lot of money! Imagine, what you could do with that many BTC! And you'd need thousands of planes to actually transport all those passengers. It's just funny imagining that situation, with Bitcoin sales accounting for 98% of the total sales
