There are people dedicated to scam or at least troll the 'Nigerian Scammers' who send all those spam mails and tell you about an inheritance and stuff. They demand proof that those people assume some crazy pose or hold up a sign with bogus messages in order to proof their legitimacy. It's funny to see those people get scammed back. On the other hand those people often are just some poor fellas who do the dirty work for the bosses over there.

i love messing with scammers. just got one to delete his post, he was attempting to extort 40BTC from the community with a plea about the ukraine bombing today.

the funny thing is that at first glance of a 2 minute news video the emotional side of people would think "oh no big crises the whole country of ukraine is being bombed"

although i dont condone any bombing, i do hate exaggerated propaganda. same as i hate scammers.

so i told him that i am speaking with a ukrainian now (which i was) who had no problems in his town bar a few protests. and that the bombing was only done in a small part of one city. meaning people did not need to run thousands of miles.

i then pointed him out to the propaganda in the video he linked.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-28559482

just watch the first 8 seconds atleast.
at the 3rd second you see a women running into a building and this in viewers eyes would make you think "oh no she is running for her life i hope she wont get killed by guns bombs or shrapnel",, right.

watch it again. but this time look to the left.

a plump woman casually walking out, not ducking down. simply talking on the phone.

.. its like watching a nurse that has been called in to work to hlp out, but she is late.. and using it to make you think she is running for her life.

after this revelation the scammer deleted the thread.

now that has been said again i do not condone the bombing nor do i take those poor souls that have lost life or limb that happen to be innocent victims. but to use incidents like this, and to manipulate them for people/media's own agenda is worse then what i have to say

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Quite funny.

But I would be careful answering scammers at all. You don't know who they are. They're criminals and might even resort to violence if they find out your identity.

funny, but the problem is, you are dealing with a low-level guy, most likely someone who is extorted into doing the dirty work for some serious gangsters. If you make too big a fool of them, their higher ups may actually kill them or harm their family. organized crime is like that, they make examples of people over slights. Best to simply ignore. You don't need to victimize some poor soul any further than he is being victimized already, do you? I know they are trying to con you, but if its that obvious it isnt worth worrying over. If you feel a need for vindication simply educate potential victims.  That will hurt the goons the most.

I think you just wasted the cost of a stamp. And the money went to.....the post office. In some ways this is worse then the scammer getting money from you.

I would also be doing this if someone will try to. Having to anonymity really drives them to scam every now and them.
