Can I reserve a spot to begin on 17th when PD finishes?  I like the better rates here but I don't want to lose half-a-month's payment.

Regarding reserves: We wont reserve slots. When/if 100 slots are taken, they are taken.

Regarding payment: Its stated clearly, they will happen on the 30th(allow up to 48h to clear all 100 payments!). Doing the payment weekly would be a major PITA and time consuming times 4!

Regarding placing more funds in escrow: This is why for first month we limit it to 100 people. 5 BTC should be enough to calm people down, but if we see that we get alot of hero members/jr members with higher rates, we could place additional funds in escrow

You might be able to sway people by offering biweekly payments.  I'd consider switching to your campaign on 1 Aug if you did it bi-weekly.

I agree, not paying your signature advertisers for posting in this thread is brilliant.  Obviously everyone posting here already knows about your dice site.  It will also keep you from paying all the people who answer the same damn questions over and over again.

Speaking of which, you ripped off my FAQ from Stunna's OP on his signature thread.  I'm not pissed, it is a good FAQ, but you should acknowledge it!  

I don't think you need to pay weekly.  You've done escrow with a reputable member and have higher rates than the current market leader.  I hate to say it, but Stunna should take a serious look at what you're doing, you are the most serious competition I've seen for him since JD folded.

Yup it is a good idea, and indeed, such rule has been used in the GAW campaign for quite some time already.

A small reminder, if anyone cares about it:

5 BTC Escrow is still a lot more than other new campaigns have provided. Shouldn't be a problem, good gesture from their side.
XBTec offered higher rates and escrowed less (even if you multiply the escrowed amount by 4, because they only accepted 25 participants), so it should be all good.

But in fact, xbtec has achieved lot of delays with last, non escrowed payments. So 5 btc are a decent minimum for a 100 places sig campaign.
