My Name is James Allen. I am a representative of the NeXT Horizon (NHZ) Cryptocurrency Platform. The reason I am contacting you is in regards to a "for profit" business opportunity that you may find interest in. This opportunity may be a good addition to the services that you already offer, as it could put your business in position to participate in the continuing evolution of Cryptocurrency, is similar in operating to the services you already offer, and would require little if no financial investment to start-up and maintain, provide your business with a broader range of services for your customers, and be a source of financial profit.
The advent of second generation Cryptocurrencies has opened a lot of doors in respect to opportunities for business. 2gens give more utility to users than being merely a form of sending and receiving currency. This utility is not only advantageous for users but also to businesses like yours. NHZ is a 2Gen Cryptocurrency platform based on the same code as NXT, This platform not only uses "Blockchain" technology in a way that allows for the exchange of decentralized currency, but also incorporates features such as a decentralized Asset Exchange, and encrypted Arbitrary Messaging.

The capabilities of the NHZ platform offer "business for profit" opportunities, one of which is gateway services that provide access to the NHZ network for other crypto currencies.

The gateway service to the NHZ platform is a holding account that allows coins such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc. to be imported and exchanged on the NHZ blockchain. In fact, this feature is functional for most coins based on Bitcoin, and software is being developed to add even more coins.

This is a non-technical description of how the gateway service works:

A Bitcoin user lists his Bitcoin address and his NHZ address with the gateway. Once he has given this information, he can send Bitcoins from his Bitcoin wallet to the gateway. The gateway holds his Bitcoins and sends Bitcoin Asset to his NHZ wallet. These Bitcoin Assets can then be exchanged on the NHZ network through the decentralized Asset Exchange, or by transactions between NHZ users (payments, tipping etc.).The user can feel confident in trading in these Bitcoin assets because they are backed by real Bitcoins in the gateway. When he so decides he wants to have his Bitcoins in his Bitcoin wallet, he sends the Bitcoin Assets to the gateway, and the gateway releases his Bitcoins back to his Bitcoin wallet. So in a nutshell the gateway is a storage wallet. (See attached diagram).

The gateway operator charges fees for these transactions.

As a security measure NHZ gateways offer a multi-party system of accountability. Gateway operators can set up gateways as multi-signature (multi-sig) accounts. This security feature requires a minimum of two parties to approve access to the account. This means no one person can access the account without the others knowledge and approval.

Due to the nature of your business and the services you are already providing, adding this gateway service to your business should be relatively simple and inexpensive. To run a gateway you need 2 servers (one for web, the other(s) for the wallets). The software for the service would be provided to you at no cost by the NHZ community, and technical support would also be provided.
The NHZ gateway service is an opportunity for your business to grow and evolve with the changing world of Cryptocurrencies, and offer new and profitable services to your business at minimal cost of investment.
Attached is a generalized diagram of the functionality of the gateway service that may help to better illustrate how it works, and how your business can profit from it.

If you have any questions or would like more info, please feel free to contact me, or visit the NHZ Forum, or NHZ channel on IRC (links provided below).

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Truly,

James Allen

I might have some interest in this! I already have an isolation system setup (multiple vps within a dedicated server).

Can you shoot me an email -> admin {at} kbve.c0m

I'll just quote the mail I sent to h0lybyte to clear up those points for everyone:

Quote
The thing about the separation of web and wallet is, that an attacker doesn't have a clue where the wallets are stored. Seperate vms would work too of course, but having both parts on the same host comes with a cost of security.
Both servers need to be able to run one daemon for every coin you want to include, plus NHZ. Especially at startup the *ds use a lot of ram, I'd calculate about 1gb for each coin, but it depends.

The (optional) use of multisig would enhance security, and make the whole gateway quasi trustless. Of course the coin's rpc has to support the bitcoin multisig commands. We can offer to run a signing-instance, for the third signee we'd have to look out. It should of course be someone who doesn't have a too close relationship to the others. 2 out of 3 have to agree to a transaction (by looking it up in the blockchain and validating it themselves and giving their signature when it's ok).

Fees for deposits/withdrawals can be set by the operators. I'd recommend something ~0.25% and keep yourself the option to change it if it's too low. Nobody knows how much movement in and out of the exchange there'll be, so we can't make any predictions about the returns.

Ok, this is an obvious scam Re: Business Oppertunity

I must say it starts off just like a Nigerian email scam.

No. Not a scam. Go FUD somewhere else. If anyone wants info to prove it, let an Admin. on the NHZ thread or NHZ Forum know. (Idiots, FUD spreaders and haters excluded).

Transaction fees can be charged for the service. The gateways are applicable to several coins. Fees can be collected in whatever coin the gateway is set up for.

Ok all the transactions fees will be used lets say by the server operator or only a percentage?

And as a server operator I will have to provide support to your users or you will be managing that? Which duties do I have as a server operator precisely?

We do not request, we offer. Infrastructure, software and support for your business. So you would of course run this on your own.

You hold the wallet with the funds, so the asset would be yours. As would be the users of the asset. And the deposit/withdrawal fees of course.

If you plan to use multisig you would have to care about the partners, and potentially pay them for running a server for you.

Open source "Pool Forging" software has also been completed and is available to ant Crypto-opportunist at no cost. ("Forging" is the NHZ/POS term for mining) Pool Forging operation is similar to Pool mining operation. This software enables users to setup their own Pools and charge fees for the service. This is another "for profit"  business opportunity for server operators. Please use the link below for more info.
