I like comedy, real family humor from Ephraim Kishon, Israel.
Hos family novels are so real, authentic, that you think that he writing about your own family Smiley

The genre doesn't matter much, really. A truly good author would manage to captivate an audience of persons of very different characters by writing a story about a carrot or whatever!

You cant really beat a good sci-fi book, the possibilities are countless in space and because its such an unknown expanse it is perfect for writers as it is easy to create a captivating story.

I like the books that John Grisham writes. I guess they are legal drama books.

That would go in the "Science-Fiction" category. He clearly has a teleporter and/or cloner, that's the only way he could be at so many different places in such a small timespan.
