Uh, I own 2.  But that's not an option in the poll for some reason.

The answer for me is never enough. Smiley

I try to be content with my holdings, and have been able to accumulate more through trading, but it's always a kick in the pants to think that I knew about bitcoin in 2010 and didn't buy until 2013....

At least it was summer 2013. Grin

Passwords are in my brain. Can't really hack that...yet.

Breaking into my house? Bring a pistol...because you're going to need it.

I hope for your sake that you have used sufficient randomization in what I am assuming are brain wallets.
You'd be surprised at how well many seemingly "random" words, even with misspelling, can be brute forced.

True, that's why using an 8 word Diceware passphrase is recommended.

I've often thought of using a Brainwallet but if something ever happened to me my family wouldn't have access to those coins.

The answer to the original question: Not enough. Last year people were content with $100 bitcoins. Seemed like a pretty even number. Just kidding, price shot up 10x.

Not a brainwallet you dips. An offline wallet with a strong password. Safer than any bank these days.

Look inside yourself, and you will see that you are the bubble.

This should really be in the off topic section. I would also advise anyone reading this to not answer the OPs question as if you were to reveal how many bitcoin you own/control then it could subject you to a number of attacks, as an attacker would know that attempting to hack you could have some benefit, verses attempting to hack a random person may or may not have potential benefit.

You shouldn't be viewing BitcoinTalk with the same computer you use to store your BTC.

Problem solved.
This is not even a computer level issue, it is a personal identity level issue. If someone were to DOX you, after you posted that you have "x" BTC then anyone would know that you have that level of BTC and would likely attempt to launch an attack to steal your coins, either by hacking or by breaking into your house to steal your computers (among other potential attacks).

Unless your reply was something less than 0.01BTC, in which case if they dox you they will probably just ignore your coins.  Smiley

Ugh, i'm really poor compared to the other forum users. :\ thought i d be atleast in the upper 50% with my 5-10 btc

Some people have a lot of BTC here...but I would still go out on a limb and say that you are easily in the top 50% with 5-10BTC holdings

Owning around 0.1 now. If bitcoin goes to 1M, 0.1 btc can buy a house where I am.

But why? It was obvious that gox was a Bad Place To Put Your Money for quite a while. Why feel sorry for stupidity and/or greed?
