As noted above.  Also since Bitcoin functions as a currency in some ways, just do your current job and use fiat to buy Bitcoin on an exchange.  You're still earning the coins - just not directly.

If you do faucets look at numbers after a day or two.  You will see how VERY little it is.

Mine it, Buy it, Earn it doing services.  These are the 3 main options.

Yeah, well, I don't recommend doing that. That's most likely illegal and we've all seen what happened to the Silk Road marketplace. Why is it so hard for a lot of people to actually do some decent work and be content with an honest and just payment?

If you live in a country that is known for having something tasty or decorative that others want (like Belgium chocolate or a Russian coin) then you could try selling those.  You won't make money at first, but if it is a popular item you can establish a decent business.   Just be wary of selling stuff that has customs regulations.

If you are offering a service then shorten urls using coinurl and also for downloads you can use pay per download sites which accepts BTC. I don't know where it would be worth getting BTC from faucets when considering electricity. You can join signature campaigns to get some BTC but don't post spam. You can convert fiat currency to BTC and sell it when the price increases if you want profit from it. There are lot of methods to get BTC. Anyway some methods may seems easy but it's risky. Eg: trading.

You don't need to have any special skills but just make forum posts, and you will be able to get way more bitcoin than from faucet sites.

You can sell or join a signature campaign when you are a newbie. Most people would pay very very low price for that since it is not noticeable. Most signature campaigns allows only member and above to join is because they have more fanciful stylings and have more potential to attract users.

The best way to earn a little bit of bitcoin would be to wait for your account to mature to become a member account and then join a signature campaign.

Earn bitcoins just like you would earn any other kind of money, or just earn dollars/euros/yen and then buy bitcoins with your earnings. It doesn't get much easier than that.

I hear of ponzi's all the time but I don't know what they are... But yeah, being a con artist is potentially the best way to get BTC. I wouldn't try a scam, where you sell something fake or otherwise inadequate, but there are sites to beg on that will get you BTC if you PM me and pay for the info. Finally, there's a guy offering to buy newbie accounts for .003 BTC. Pay me .001 and I'll hook you up. PM if you're interested.

But there's something much more productive you can be doing with your time. Faucets are honestly a big waste of time and energy and some of them are very frustrating as well. Not at all recommended unless you just want to have something more than zero.

But can't the buyer show proof? Posts of selling the account by actual owner. Anyway, it shouldn't be promoted. Try to be active and not to scam and you can study many new things from here and with that your ranks will be higher even if you didn't notice.

Also, people can see if you are not the owner of the account as the posting style would be different from he past. Or if unlucky, the previous owner was inactive for a long period of time and people would be suspicious if it suddenly become so active. If found out, you will get negative reputations which would not allow you to join much of the campaigns.

Apart from the negative feedback issue ranochigo raised, there is one more problem that I just found in the following Badbear's post.

I've gotten several complaints lately, from people who bought accounts that turned out to be banned or hacked, and also dirty accounts that were on the verge of being permabanned due to previous infractions. You're on your own in cases like that, we will not help you. Be careful.
