These bullshit sites don't help in any way. Thinking about it doesn't help an addicted gambler.

What you need to do is try something else. Find something you like on the Internet, maybe a job. Learn graphics. It's fun and requires time.

Every addiction is hard to stop
You need rehabilitation, take trip, go away from society for a while to keep you away from gambling.

I think you didnt visit the site, and your suggestion is good but many gamblers share their experience in that site, it can help. Smiley
one way to change being a gambler is to accept some peoples advice or listen to it...

I believe you only believe in your self Smiley

Vacations are very helpful. One of the benefits of having an extremely strict Baptist (really, more Anabaptist) family is the unspoken threat of silent judgment, which maybe sounds paradoxical to any addiction professionals. Nobody would dare smoke in front of my preacher grandparents, for example, even if they're visiting one of our houses. An extended vacation with them, then, can be very beneficial long-term. We're planning on visiting them in Florida for a couple weeks in October and, as a result of knowing I can't show any vices outside caffeine addiction in front of them, I've already given up drinking outright (though I don't drink much these days, anyway) and've moved to a cigar a day from 15-20 cigarettes in an effort to quit smoking while wife has severely cut back and now goes outside to smoke.

I like sports, I play sports 2 times a week  and stuff but any ideas of stuff to do other than betting 24/7  would be cool I'm trying to break this habit......
I even have a lady friend, maybe some ideas for us both lol.. Obvioulsy we go to dinner and stuff but I need more to do other than gambling.. Lets talk lol fishing, kinda bores me, movies bore me, bike rides are ok lol, any more ideas?

You should block yourself from every single gambling website you currently use, I believe you can do this by messing around with your hosts file.

And as mentioned above you should start hitting the gym, going for runs and hiking. You and your girlfriend will both love the benefits of it. It takes about a month to make something a habit, get a gym membership and force yourself to spend your new vacant time doing physical activity/playing a sport every day for the next 30 days.

If you can go without sports betting for 30 days then you'll most likely lose interest in it and in exchange gain interest in something beneficial as noted above. Log off of your computer and get started now.

Good luck

Not to sound like I'm sucking your dick, but you have always been one of my favorite gambling website operators. Of course you are in it for the profit, but you give back so much to the community and actually deter problem gamblers from making you more money.

Anyways, I hope you get off gambling OP.

or get involve in any sports, spend time with friends, if you have cash ex. $50 and it comes to your mind that you want to gamble it and STOP! don't entertain that thoughts and spend your $50 to something like food or make your mom/son/wife happy for $50. and it's better to spend than to loose in gambling..  (im sure my grammar is wrong ) haha!

Have a Good Day everyone.

After looking through the thread, everyone is telling you to find a hobby and get addicted to something less harmful. Mind telling us a tonyy bit about yourself so we can give more accurate suggestions?
