Overstock.com的CEO Patrick Byrne最近在RT新闻网上透漏了一些关于公司接受比特币的计划。

Byrne称在未来一个月到六周时间内， Overstock.com 将会把公司的比特币支付方式扩展到国际社区，包括俄罗斯民间。

早在七个月前 Overstock.com 就和Coinbase合作引入了比特币支付方式，在NEWSBTC发表过声明之后。

那时我采访了Patrick Byrne，最初的计划是在2014年下半年开始的时候集成比特币支付的。但是由于势不可挡的关注，该公司加速完成这个过程，以免其他竞争对手先人一步。

整合的过程只用了八天，Byrne 称到Coinbase的系统工作的非常完美。

Overstock.com拥抱比特币和数字货币对社区有重要意义。其他公司如TigerDirect, Newegg 和 Expedia等，在观望研究之后，相继接受了比特币支付。

如果你认为Overstock接受比特币是为了提升公司形象，搞一个噱头，那你就大错特错了。Byrne 本人是比特币超级粉丝，而且他自己屯了几百万美元的比特币。

还有就是，Overstock.com的留了一定百分比的利润没有兑换成法币，就是利润中一些比特币没有做兑换，其他公司都是百分百兑换法币的。

该公司最近声称计划捐献自己的一些比特币，来为虚拟货币做推广。

原文提到的比特币交易速度问题，正好bitshares解决了，10秒一个块，看来btsx很有机会跟overstock合作

国内对比特币政策有点封闭.ZF是不允许你明目张胆大规模使用比特币的.有的商家对比特币还不是很了解，要慢慢来
