So hang on, each one of those units is what 3U or 4U in height?
And all together it looks to take up to 15U in rack space?  Shocked
Uses between 4600 and 7800W  Shocked
And generates between 5.4 and 7.2TH/s of performance?  Huh

[edit] WTF where did that post go?

So how thik is this, 3u?

Each half unit is 7.4U, so 15U for 7.2TH.

No the entire 7.2TH is generated by 4 of those 3/4U sections, plus another couple of 1U used up by the bottom shelf bit and the top controller.

So anything between 14 and 18U depending on how big each section is.

Thanks for clarifying.. so 3U per unit, plus 1.4U for the racking and controller?

Hosting costs will be a nightmare unless they can host it for free themselves..

Hell shipping costs are going to be enormous!

Nothing to see here. Train wreck. New or premined units? That is a fair question to ask given how LATE these are compared to other offerings something just doesn't smell right. Seems to be desperate ploy to dump either old hardware or weak large inefficient miners to the community. Avoid it.

I don't have any more info than you, going off the specifications.

Weight per unit (so 2 of them per 7.2TH) is about 20kg packaged each and likely 25 or 26kg volumetric each.

They have been selling systems with hashfast ASIC's for quite a while now.

They are based in China. http://www.bitcrane.com/article.php?id=5

Wondering why not make a HW for home miners... about 2-2.5 Th, less than 0.6 W/Gh.... Why don't they?..

Perhaps you don't realize what it means for them running Hashfast boards... In short not really feasible to get that efficiency without blowing the cost way up to run them underclocked..

By blowing the cost up, I assume you mean buying all the extra boards, water cooling, and PSU's will you need to get 2-2.5 TH/s at that efficiency?

Those HF boards are power hungry. I loved MrTeal's boards, but I broke both of mine.

Just to clarify it's not 'between' there are two modes. a normal mode and a turbo mode. The normal mode is more power efficient but the turbo mode goes at full 7.2 TH/s at 7800w.
