As some of you know we produce educational bitcoin videos. Well our last one was taken down for violating youtube guidelines. Of course no one tells you what exactly you have violated. At first I was sure it's mistake but they just rejected my appeal confirming they see reason for the suspension, without pointing the actual reason  though.
So please help me figure out the reason and also to make some noise around this case, beucase we shouldn't leave thinkgs like that.

Here is mirror of the video at Vimeo:
https://vimeo.com/102230977

and here is the orignal version at youtube, so you can see the suspension notice
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XImwmL4eBXk

If you want to help me with this please upvote it at reddit, so we can actually get some attention to the case

they got morons whose job it is to produce x suspended videos a day

like a quota on cops and tickets

they got to justify to shareholders why google and youtube needs 10K employees when they could run the world with 10

so the evil G empire creates jobs like jobs of people to take down stuff

also if you get too many views they don't like they say fake views or spam

so your competitor can hire a spam view bot company to hit your videos and have you taken down

you did know that right

competitors now make spam links to get sites taken out

competitors hire video hit teams to take out videos they don't want

or the gov has you marked

that's the 3 legit reasons I've seen videos taken out

1. worthless employees meeting quotas
2. competitors spamming with links and fake views
3. a legit government strike

oh the fourth is you spammed somehow and got caught

The only thing I can think of(without watching your video first) is that they do not like your donation address being in it? They don't watch every video obviously, maybe someone actually watched that one and saw you were soliciting donations. Not sure if that is against their TOS, I do it on my channel so I hope that is not it.

Edit: I think I know why actually. Did you copy and paste the link to that specific video on a bunch of forums/posts? If you copy a specific video link they will get you for that. Especially if you don't get many views. The views from someone searching you up vs. the views from a direct link can get you banned. Too much direct views on a single video sets off their alarm for the % of views on it vs. natural views(people clicking your channel, subscribers, search engine results).

Especially if you have ads enabled, direct views to a VIDEO will kill your site man. Just do links to your channel for the most part, if you want to help yourself even more, do a link that brings up Youtube search with your channels named typed in, that way it counts as someone searching for your channel then it counts as a "natural search".

The reason I know first hand about this is because I used megayoutube views one time to get some views on another channel, it gets you the views from tons of different ip address, but the percentage of direct link views was too high and they suspended my ad sense. be very careful!

Other than the very mild references to porn and cocaine, I don't see anything in there that would result in YouTube pulling it down.

I'm going to have to guess it was those two references, but it surprises me that they'd pull if for something so mild.

There was also some legal advice about whether or not you need to declare it when crossing borders, I don't know if they have a problem with videos prsenting questionable legal advice.

Well.... you seem to be an alt of Bitcoin_exchange ... considering you "deal in domains" and have the same formatting, typing, and grammatical style.

Maybe they think that this is an advocacy for not using dollar and use bitcoin instead

but answering the OP's question.
there have been alot of reports about scammers making videos of these crappy made programs with a basic GUI that is just a progress bar that tell you 'generating' bitcoins. where infact they are loading malware to your system. thus youtube is deleting some of these video's but sometimes mistakes  real educational ones for the scam video's..

We all know the CIA, NSA, FBI, [YouTube] are private organizations bought & paid for by the 13 inbred European Bloodlines of the Terrorist organization Illuminati to collect data & spy on everybody. the primary objective of those private organizations are to only benefit themselves.

Makes me giggle.

I haven't spammed any links or whatever, so it's not that.
They let you appeal only once per 6 months.

So, it seems like there isn't really a reason and there is nothing that can be done?

Does anyone know someone from google we could take this to?

And again, please upvote on reddit, I feel like this is the only chance we could fix this.

I know Google Adsense likes to delete things easy as fuck for no apparent reason, maybe they did something wrong in the video? Usually no apparent reasons is just a really anal decision, they censure everything these days.

Well my main concern is that after I appealed they confirmed the decision. This means it was looked at by at least 2 persons, right?
And isn't it annoying that they don't tell you the actual reason? How is that fair and reasonable?

OP, did they ever give a reason why it was suspended? This doesn't make sense, because there are several channels that are dedicated to bitcoin topic.

This is a case for switching to Vimeo. I have a friend who got his videos taken down for "copyright violations" when they were HIS videos that he created using an animation program called Blender. He was mad, but I talked him into at least giving Vimeo a look. Vimeo's one weakness is that they charge uploaders of videos if they go over a certain number of gigabytes, but they make up for it by providing a platform that doesn't waste viewers' time with irrelevant video advertisements and you can still embed them on your own website. Right now he's creating an independent movie, and I was just telling him that having a 30-second trailer on Vimeo would make a nice addition to his Indiegogo campaign for when he wants to raise money to promote it.

Fuck youtube!
You want to put up personal videos that won't get blocked?
Use http://www.real.com/

Yea, I know, I'm sure you are asking what year is this???

I use that real player cloud shit and it's great for putting videos up that you KNOW youtube will tear down!

Ps. we should stop blaming Real Player for "buffering"!! i mean you had a 56K connection to the interwebs FFS and you're trying to watch porn! of course it needed to buffer!

as far as bloatware, YES! they used to bloat the SHIT of your windows PC, but this is all a webUI. No need to install dick!
