Yeah, kinda reminded me of dogecoin's irc channel in december but on a smaller scale.

Two choice quotes from the night:

20:10 <@RipoffCoin> sup
20:10 <@RipoffCoin> a message from the dev will be online in a few minutes Smiley
20:10 <@RipoffCoin> devs
20:10 <@RipoffCoin> lets say "devs"

20:12 <@RipoffCoin> a few small things will happen today
20:13 <@RipoffCoin> team is busy with checking amazon for things we will buy after dumping the hidden premine
20:13 <@RipoffCoin> Smiley

Bahhahahahaha

i love that quotes, i hope the "devs" are having fun with their "things" Cheesy

WE JUST FUCKING MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

https://www.coins-e.com/exchange/RIPO_BTC/

Awesome! Just got home and we've made it onto two exchanges! Guess i owe you 0.015 for not matching your votes!

edit: who is selling so cheap on Lazycoins?!?

edit, edit: an now on coins-e. Lets set a base price a lot higher than that! Min 10,000 - see someone is selling at that already. Will sell some of mine from there up when coins get across. IF we get a good price then more miners, higher hashrate, harder it is to get, higher the price!
No way !
This must be a scam !!!

Wallet doesn't work :

Event Type:   Information
Event Source:   Application Popup
Event Category:   None
Event ID:           26

Description:
Application popup: ripoffcoin-qt.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point GetTickCount64 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

What's wrong ?
Please fix, if not I can not get ripped off.   Angry

I run XP-sp3.
Solution is to re-compile :
http://blog.inventic.eu/2013/08/gettickcount64-problem-on-windowsxp/

Quote :

It’s necessary to compile your application (and any library which uses GetTickCount64) with correct WINVER and _WIN32_WINNT defines value. List of WINVER values for all Windows version.

Qt Solution:
If you want to define these values automatically in Qt project, add following lines to your .pro file:

#Windows XP compatability
DEFINES += "WINVER=0x0501"
DEFINES += "_WIN32_WINNT=0x0501"

I can't compile myself, else I would have tried it myself.

How about getting on a real exchange? I wouldn't trade coins on either exchange RIPO has now.

Dev does have this coin labelled as a scam, just an honest one. So the major exchanges would be foolish to add RIPO. Dev may have to message the exchanges and say his coin is not really a scam, but not to publicly admit RIPO is not a scam since it would damage the theme.

Don't let the trait RIPO was born from be the destruction of itself, know what I'm saying?

We should all set sell orders at 0.1btc per ripoffcoin for a whole week and see what happens. This coin is alot funnier as a joke then it is as a real coin. Nobody go lower than 0.1 just to see what happens.
