ripo ripo ripo what is going on with you ?

Why is this coin in freefall?

I really liked it - I hope there's a plan for it.

Are the devs still with us?  Who is dumping hundreds of thousands if ripo at such a low price (~200 Satoshi).   Only ~ 4 million coins out right now - that's a massive amount to sell in one hit.

Hopefully it's just miners desperate to pay bills but it's not looking good.

Cheers!

This coin was made set a standard and/or to prove that no matter what an OP says or dev team can do, any coin is a possible scam. Remember that this coin was launched when scams were at their all time highs. Now with that said, I wonder if the dev is fading on purpose to drag the prices way down to show how that's also how people get ripped off.

The block explorer isn't working.  Anybody know why?

I see there's a 2,000 RIPO game bounty offered.

I'd like to pitch in and double that.  Let me know where I can send my 2,000 RIPO.

Preferably a scammy wallet which will never make it to any bounty payout.  lol.

Cheers!

    Introducing Ripomeoff!
    Ripo Me Off!
Targeted to the special few (or just plain special) that still hold on to their ripo coin just because it has a cool logo.

    http://i60.tinypic.com/209q1vt.png

My name is Dr Usah Koine Esmine, a staff in the Private Clients  Section of a well-known group, here in Shillville, Cabota. One of our  accounts,
with holding balance of 15,000,000,000 (Fifteen hundred Ripo Coins) has been dormant and last operated 8 years ago. From my  investigations and
confirmation, the owner of the said account, a  foreigner by name Sukah Numbah Won, died on the 4th of January 2015 in a  plane crash in the USSR.

Since then, nobody has done anything as regards the claiming of  these coins, as  no family member has come looking for him, that is my knowledge
as to the  existence of either the account or the coins; and also Information from  the National Immigration also states that he was single on entry into
    the [insert city here].

I have decided to find a reliable foreign partner to deal with.  I therefore propose to do business with you, standing in as the next of  kin of these coins
from the deceased and funds released to you after  necessary processes have been followed.

This transaction is totally free of risk and troubles as the fund is legitimate and does not  originate from drug, money laundry, terrorism, kidnapping,
blackmail, bribery, cheque fraud, credit card fraud, mortgage fraud, medical fraud, corporate fraud, securities fraud (including insider trading), bank fraud,
payment fraud, health care fraud, theft, scams or confidence tricks, tax evasion, bribery, embezzlement, identity theft, money laundering, forgery and
counterfeiting, including the production of Counterfeit money and consumer goods, computer crime, elder abuse, burglary or armed robbery (pretty sure
on the armed robbery but rest assured , it is nothing that could be proven in the court of law) I promise my pants are not on fire; cross my heart, hope to
die, stick a needle in my eye, and finally to seal the deal... a pinky promise.

On your interest, let me hear from you URGENTLY, we have decided to share this dormant coin with those who play the game.

        Best Regards,
Dr Rich Asa Biatch  Financial Analysis and Remittance Manager

    Ripo Me Off!

      Rules

    • The game starts when someone creates a round. Anyone with a valid ripoffcoin payout address can start a round.
    • The game ends when the countdown reaches zero.
    • The Originator or person starting the round will determine the rules for that round.
    • Some of the rules to be determined by the person starting the round are:
    •  1. Round name: self-explanatory
    •  2. Return on Investment (ROI) (%): percent to be received on top of your original bid.
    •  3. Jackpot (%): amount to be added to the Jackpot from every bid.
    •  4. Minimum/Maximum deposits: range of possible bids.
    •  5. Time: the original time left at the start the round.
    •  6. Decay Rate (%): how fast the time decays for every bid placed.
    • Once the rules are set, the Originator must specify his payout address.
    • The Originator must place the first bid by sending the appropriate amount of ripoffcoins to an address prompted by ripomeoff (the House)
    • The House will take 1% off the top of spends and allocate the rest of the deposit according to the rules of the round. Some will go to the Jackpot and the rest will go to the Pot.
    • After the first bid is set, the countdown will begin from the Time set by the Originator.
    • If there are no new bids placed until the countdown reaches zero, the Originator will be fully refunded his/her deposit.
    • If a new bid is placed, the new bidder will be asked for his ripoffcoin payout address and be prompted to send his bid to the House ripoffcoin address.
    • The House will take 1% off the top of any subsequent bids and allocate the rest of the deposit according to the rules of the round.
    • Once the bid amount is confirmed by the network and there is enough in the Pot to pay the bidder, the House will automatically send the payout amount to the bidder.
    • The House will keep on paying the next bidder in line as long as there is enough in the pot.
    • The Jackpot is paid in total to the last bidder only. The winner's address is displayed at the end of the round.
    • Reserved so we can add rules at anytime or change rules without increasing list count.
    • We suggest you don't play at all, you're probably going to lose your coins.

Basically, it is a good old fashioned Ponzi with a twist.

Each Game has a set amount of time for expiration.
The Countdown clock is reset each new spend but reduced by the "Decay" percentage noted.
At game's end, the Jackpot is paid out to the last spender in the game.

This game currently has a 200 Coin Jackpot:

    Is RIPO dead or abandoned?

How can there be so much constant dumping when the subsidy is fairly low and there are only 5 million total coins?

When is the next block halving?  Maybe that will help or maybe the dev can do a code update to significantly cut back the inflation and dilution.

    Cheers!

    Block explorer still not working.

Would be nice to know the current dilution and inflation rate,

I just realized that RIPO is a 5 star Proof of Developer.

    How funny is that?  lol

Talk about a great Ripoff, no ripoff coin yet has had a full 5 PoD rating.

haha, props to the ripoff devs.

How long until the block halves to 25 from 50?

Maybe the lower inflation will help.  Cause the way this is going my 90% current loss is quickly turning into a huge 99% loss.

Needless to say, I feel really ripped off.  lol

Edit:  Just did a little research and it looks like RIPO won't be halving to 25 coins for another ~180 days.  6 months of nearly 1 million coins per month?  This coin will be dead by then.

Cause the way this is going my 90% current loss is quickly turning into a huge 99% loss.

And that was the point of the devs.
I'm 80% loss. And waiting for 100% Wink
It's strange that somebody still trading it on Bittrex.
And everytime before Bittrex delisting somone buy his own ask for few BTC to prevent it.

I didn't have big expectations with this coin but I believed it's gonna be some fun. Honest scam Wink
I was really funny but after devs abadoned this very thread it's just sad.

This is still one of my favorite coins because it helps expose and remove the pretense around the coingame.

Also, the chart, and fact that it is even still listed and trading, are hilarious.

How is that possible?  It's down over 90%.

    No wonder the dumping continues.

Dev, you gotta kill this inflation soon before it's too late.
